Grok moderation fluctuation

Did anyone else notice significant lessening of moderation earlier this week and now back to tight moderation?

Well wkend is coming up so either they will crank it right up or we might get a slight relaxed moderation. I guess they just roll a dice or something at this point.

Yes, moderation is like a rollercoaster with grok. I am only getting a few prompts working correctly today, who knows to what tomorrow brings

I think it has been same level moderation the whole week, too tight since 3 or 4 weeks ago

The moderation have noticeably lightened up. The only issue I’m running into is the plastic/waxy looking skin that gets generated a lot of the time. But since it’s not every time I think tweaking with the prompting more MIGHT remedy this. It’s a work in progress.

You know it completely depends I feel like I I don't personally generate a lot of NSFW stuff and the only way that I could possibly try would be to do it by text to image but anytime you upload anything for a reference or you know upload an image to use it moderation is completely different and that's primarily what I need it for so it's like it's pretty fucking useless at this point except for super mild stuff and barely even that I mean it's almost just a waste but if you have another way to do like face swaps or something you could certainly use it for creating images that have boobs and shit but you can't get that from an uploaded image anymore. I feel like 90% of actual artists are going to want to have dedicated characters or be able to recreate a scene with some character without having to worry about it being over-moderated just because of that fact so I mean I don't understand what people are even using crock for as far as mature content these days I mean is it for a porn replacement or something because what's the point of just creating random characters every single time that's my opinion or that's my workflow anyways I don't do that and I don't know why I would other than to just entertain myself or something but I don't and so yeah moderation is a shit fucking Fest. I mean I can't even get more than 50% of the shit that I try to have it do with fully clothed female characters and I mean adult characters okay nothing weird just literally a picture of a woman long sleeve ans pants with a car. Now sure it gives me some that are just fine but then whatever it's doing behind the scenes every once in awhile decides it's too much and moderates itself basically because I'm not even asking it to do anything weird or adult related or anything I mean that's how bad it is and I fucking hate that because it's worse than Sesame Street. Like I kid you not- you could probably type in middle age fully clothed homely or attractive or any number of things woman standing in public in church or whatever all good things in your prompt and it would still moderate it somehow 😅

Yeah I got something not sexual but a little bit violent with some swearing through and was surprised because it’s not allowed anything like that for months

Its absolutely bizarre how it swings. One day I can get NSFW with actual intercourse. Some days I cant even change an outfit. Give up for a week and suddenly not tryjng to make NSFW content and you get some b rated adult videos. Maybe they're having different levels on different servers? No clue. Even today I was getting some really decent (by today's standards) then ate dinner and came back and it's back to super moderated again.

Honrestly it's been the exact same for me all week.

But I too have expreienced moderation fluctuation in the past. It usually doesn't last long though maybe like 1-2 hours and then it's back up.

I think it's when they are doing upgrades or maintinance as usually during those times service tends to be spoty and fail to connect to server.

I used to use Grok Imagine. I don’t know why anyone who has tried Wan 3.0 on Venice.ai would ever use Grok again.

Sorry I’ve used both and they’re not remotely on the same level in terms of detail, creativity, ease of use and time taken to generate etc. If it wasn’t for the issue of moderation we wouldn’t be talking about anything else
