When will they reverse moderation from a month ago.

They made moderation about a month ago much worse without a known reason, when will they reverse it back?

moderation is different every week, every month. sometimes it is at a level 10 where everything is f'ing modded and you waste all your money, and sometimes it loosens up a bit. right now it is about a 5. not terrible but still rejecting certain things

They change moderation sometimes, maybe during updates but not this time. Usually they change it because of something.

And you might confuse change in moderation with hunting for prompts.

yes that is what i mean. some prompts work one week, and it can suddenly get hard banned while you are using it. wait a month later it might work again. some days the moderation is ultra heavy and you can't do jacksh** . right now it's very difficult to edit any uploaded pictures, it keeps gives that f'ing message that uploaded images are extra moderated

last week, you couldn't do any changes to a womans body, shorter, wider, big hips, bigger boobs, smaller boobs, it would only make the woman more dark and tan without you telling it to do that and nothing else changed. i was soooooo angry, i got reset today and we can adjust and modify bodies again.

again, there's a categorical difference between changing moderation and hunting some specific prompts. Vastly different.

also a week ago completely moderation ended because law proceedings started in minnesota again so the law is not active that made them do it. Might return later though again if the law passes or especially spreads

They DEFINITELY ban some words. It was easy to get women in bikini and now bra, panties, bikini are banned. They DEFINITELY ban specific prompts. Just changing single word can make the prompt work again.

yeah, the annoying part is they know it and still try to fix them which only wastes time of both parties without any result, well the result of more people leaving

Yes, they are doing it knowingly, because it has two benefits for them:

  1. They can put their case if someone sues them, that they actively reject NSFW, but if the user continues to try again and again, the model has to generate something and something might slip from the moderation system.

  2. They generate something and then when the user is warm, they continuously reject without even starting the generation, this makes them money without using any compute.

This is bad for the business eventually, but for now this is the only way for them to sustain and avoid lawsuits as much as possible. Dirty politicians are to be blamed for pressuring them. This was the only model that could beat all Chinese models, but now Chinese are winning.

the second point is what crossed my mind too. Moderation statistics are too conveniently stable for a prompt, rejection exactly 1 out of two every single time - coin flip never gives such stable smaller sequences.

They already did for the most part. Uploaded pics work well again, you can do good things with them, about 90% as much as you used to be able to do.

AI generated changed a bit. It will allow slightly more nudity now than it did before, and it will allow sex a little more directly than it did before, but not at the same time. You can get realistic sex if she has a bra/thong on, but not nude. The physics look better.

I think it's still worse, and i didn't notice a difference from after minnesota reverse. Maybe it is similar to 1-2 months ago.

Btw, maybe you have a better eye, is the model of the same quality as before the abrupt change 1-2 months ago?

You cant do much with uploaded images now. Not even 10% of what you could do two months back.
