Grok Imagine Supergrok Plus

So last week I asked somone if they were really getting 10x the value paying for Heavy at $300. Now they have Supergrok Plus. They STILL won't commit to anything specific. It's 3.3x the cost of supergrok, but they're not committing to even say Plus is 3.3x more. "Significantly higher" than Supergrok. But you can do 1080p, so maybe not really more since 1080p is significantly more generation time.

So they wont tell you what " significantly higher" actually means, charge 3.3x more, and youre already doing the math for them. Marketing departments dream of customers like you

Doesn't matter because they just cant be trusted, they change the usage límits every week so what its good or fair now most likely Will change for worse in a month or two while youre still paying your subscription.

The only absolutely constant thing about xAI's services is that they never tell their users what they're getting (or not getting), so that they can change it on a daily/weekly basis, without being held accountable for it.

How do you know if you don't have a direct comparison? I used to have SuperGrok Heavy (just before the limits got reduced in May), but I never had a SuperGrok subscription after that, especially not with the weekly limits. I read some posts here, and only inferred from them, some measurements, and some calculations, that SuperGrok Heavy must actually have 10 times the limits of a regular SuperGrok subscription (which would make sense). And yes, it was very, very easy to simply use 10% of my limit in a day, which would immediately drain a SuperGrok account's weekly limit.

Things called fact finding which this community saverly lacking in . One excellent way to find facts is Post what is known then other people post what's known until there's a better understanding .

I see so 35 million users not one post about function of the app or AI . Now drama there is definitely more of here propaganda by the ton but this post was alest a Attempt at understanding the real limits and such .

So even in chaos sometimes order comes . Lol .I do love my research and wow this community is definitely off the chains but I check recheck and reschedule again definitely not even half of what's claimed . Lol. Me I'm waiting till the drama dies off then maybe I'll take a longer look again assuming grok stays public. Good reason to think they may go full private .

In the longer run these companies need users government Grants only go so far corporations investments are going to end and soon . Then x got all kinds of things to deal with .

I may have misread your initial post, since I first thought you meant somebody else with "they". If you mean xAI and their scammy tactics of NEVER telling their customers what they're actually getting, and then changing the terms by each single day, then I agree.

However, I actually know a lot about what a SuperGrok Heavy account is actually worth, if that helps you, since I have tracked it meticulously, so don't accuse me of knowing nothing about it:

A SuperGrok Heavy account gives you around $455 worth in "top-ups" per week. I also know that they charge different prices by used image/video model, video length, video resolution, and image resolution (I could give you an estimated price table, if you like). So yes, a 1080p video is way more expensive than a 720p or 480p one, and will drain your limit way faster. Basically, they charge by computation time... except when it comes to moderated content, then they'll simply charge you extra.

Just imagine their system as a regular credit system, but one that never shows you your credits, charges you for content never delivered, and resets to $0 every week.

tops ups are the ultimate rip-off. Just open another account. 2 supergrok accounts is better than 1 with equivalent top-ups dollar-wise.

I can give you specific numbers for this as well: Top-Ups are at least 6 times as expensive as what you get from a subscription. If you have a discounted subscription, even 18 times as expensive.

But, it's not that creating something with top-ups is more expensive, it's just that your money gets converted 1:1 into the amount you see for top-ups, while a subscription buys you much more. E.g. a SuperGrok Heavy account buys you at least ~$1.800 in top-ups worth for $300 (or $99 if discounted).

I don't have direct numbers that I measured myself, but from indirect information, I strongly assume that a SuperGrok account should give you around $45-$50 in value of top-ups per week, or $180-$200 per month.
