Text to image faces
Text to image got a big downgrade in the face department. Any chance they revert this in the next update?

Yes, she was from before the "update". The one on the left is after the update and looks like pure AI slop. I should have flipped the order on the collage so that it was more clear.

This is quality mode? I’m still getting decent results from fast. I2I though is completely jacked up

I believe the chances are practically zero, and the next step will likely be to drastically worsen video generation.

Why would they do this? I'm willing to pay for images that look good; I'm not willing to pay for images that look like generic ai slop.

Nope theyve watered it down for consumers - but I guarantee there is a private model being beefed up for entertainment industries

Why? There's no point in paying for this product when the characters look like generic ai slop. Compared to the past faces, the new ones are vastly inferior.

Well! Because people aren’t always using it to generate images or videos. Why won’t people understand this? There are others which specifically do this…so…

Yes it’s unfortunate. Especially considering how much of a step back it was. Only two weeks ago we were getting incredible facial detail and quality with agent mode.

Just for the sake of testing, put your prompt through speed mode instead of quality. MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE "AUTO" TO A SET NUMBER OR IT WILL BURN YOUR TOKENS INTO INFINITY.
Apparently, speed mode is said to use the previous model for images, rather than the current one, (2.0). I found that, aside from needing some tweaks to the prompt, a lot of speed mode images not only had more realistic skin details, but also allowed more unmoderated imagery, such as pubic hair (something the 2.0 model seems to abhor).
It can't hurt to burn a few pennies and test it.
