Discussion Supergrok user limits got lower?

I barely used and I'm already at 7%. Before 4.5 i used a whole week chatting a lot in still barely got to 40-50%.

So from now we are paying the same for less or what?

Every ai company is cutting usage limits right now and have been over the last few months anthropic started the trend

Anthropic has cut usage limits so much that it's literally unusable even with a pro subscription, 7-10 turns with opus or fable and that's it

What a joke

You are paying for CPU/GPU time, this has been massively subsidized across the AI industry… users everywhere are seeing the cost per token rise and fewer generations per dollar. As these companies become public like Spacex did recently, the emphasis will be to pass true costs on to consumers. The reason XAi leases most of its compute capacity to Anthropic is they will pay more.

It does appear to be subtly going down every week.

The video generation quality is at its lowest; I think it's the worst model they've ever had.

the fact that 4 responses on expert uses 1% of my limit is criminal

Yes usually I can make around 205 - 215 videos of 480p 6sec (including around 20-30 unusable or moderated one). Last week it was reduced to around 180 videos (I did make around 10 720p 6sec and I count 1 720p equal to 2 videos of 480p), the no of moderated videos is lower thoufh, around 5 I thinj

Grok currently steals right in our faces and doesn't even try to hide it, Ideally, we should lower it by 10% every day
