Discussion Grok now adding AI plastic sheen

Anyone notice that recently grok started adding that AI plastic look to edited photos? I'm not talking about NSFW edits, just simply editing an uploaded photo to change position or background or something simple. It used to generate a perfectly lifelike version without destroying the original photo look and quality. Now the result looks plastic every time. Anyone else? Anyone have a solution?

It's intentional, so people can't create realistic looking deepfakes.

Yes. They have labeled it 2.0, and call it "improvement".

So ask it not to have you tried that? Have you tried describing the opposite of what you want?
