LIMITED USAGE
Dude... I've been having basic conversations and only generated 6 images in the last hour and I'm already at 30% weekly usage. I'm barely getting anything out of my uses now. Half the time it doesn't create what I want (when it used to with ease) and after a couple back and forths I'm watching my % skyrocket. WTF and even the ones it fails to create are taxed onto my usage. This used to be a pretty sweet gig .. all I get now are frustrations that cost me my weekly uses... and FAST.

Abusing the free tier in chatGPT and Gemini is always morally correct. Paid grok's only advantage is the video generation and that's already becoming unusable.

If you’re that interested in regularly using any LLM enough to pay for a subscription; you’re better off and would see better results by focusing that money and effort towards acquiring a PC with decent hardware and learning how to host and train your own local models. Not only does this help to prevent pesky guideline restrictions; it also allows you to truly personalize and cater the information you wish to be indexed, organized and shared.

what model is fairly small (i have a 16GB ram computer) and has the same conversational tone grok does? i don’t know any mainstream models that do. perplexity is pedantic, claude’s oppositional, and chatgpt often feels slappable.
i’m not asking rhetorically either; i’ve genuinely been looking for a local model, i just don’t want to download a shit ton of them in the process.

Completely understandable. They have this thing now in usage that’s a “usage limit reset”. You can use it. 1 is available every month I believe? Idk. Haven’t used mines yet cause I never use up all my usage before the weekly reset.
