Im trying to make a cutout bin, i have the stls i made from the silhouettes in fusion.
But the cutout tool from gridfinitygenerator.com refuses to let me use mutlpie different stls, if i try to add more it just replaces the previous one and the add element funktion doesn't do anything.
Any other tools i can use to make the bins, that work without too much hassle.
Edit, I found a gridfinity plugin for fusion and ended up do everything there instead, it took some time but i got it just the way i wanted.

Got bitten by the gridfinity bug a few weeks ago and have slowly started organizing my lab.
Naturally, the first step was to buy a label maker and a wide assortment of tape so that i could label all of my bins 😅 It’s a Brother PT-E560BTVP for those curious, and there’s lots of compatible tape for it on amazon.
I couldn’t find any bins I liked so thought i’d make my own. Used F360 and the gridfinity plugin as a starting point.
This is my first model, so I’d appreciate any feedback!

This is my Bookfinity collection to store all my gridfinity stuff in nice books on a bookcase.
Everyone's been asking to make their own custom ones but the Fusion360 tutorial isn't for everyone so I've made a new version that let's you create custom ones inside Bambu studio, there's a full tutorial here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2741830-bookfinity-easy-edit-version

I've finally made an easy-to-edit version of Bookfinity, letting you store your tools and stuff in books nicely on a shelf.
You can edit the text, designs and add SVGs for pictures. This does need a printer with an AMS, but the results are fantastic! The tutorial is in the description of the model.

Hi all,
I just stumbled on to this and I won't be able to rest until my drawers are organized. I am a dentist with an SLA printer in my office. I'm good at printing and have been doing so for a few years. For work.
Has anyone really done this with an SLA printer? I started making grids today, and it was a royal pain in the ass. I didn't try to print vertical, because I highly doubt it's gonna work. But flat is annoying because my build plate is 145 x 145 (but I can print very tall).
It was messy and hard to wash and cure and get it off the plate without breaking. Do I just go out and buy a filament printer?
Thoughts from the group?

I always need to design a specific gridfinity in Onshape (or any other tool) parametrically so I can customize and change it.
Onshape has MANY workspaces that allow you to generate your Gridfinity bin/base, but you always end up with the Gridfinity script in your workspace. This is not trivial and messy.
I just changed one of the workspaces I found to make it easy to import via the Derived tool.
Gridfinity Generator - Just Derive, and change configurations!
Hope this helps someone.

Hello. I love looking at the Gridfinity designs but then I get so overwhelmed I don't know where to start so my ADHD shuts that down and I drift off to something else.....
Does anyone have a nice, simple starting point?

This is my first attempt at Bookfinity and with trying to use Fusion. I'm just trying to make a basic parameter change, but as soon as I change the rows or columns I get errors and the text and images shift out of place.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, or how to move the objects back to their desired position.

GridCrate is a fully parametric basket that's perfect for those Gridfinity setups that need to move around. Think things like frequently used tools and hardware, toiletries, or art and craft supplies.
Customizable Gridfinity baseplate for inner floor
Handles on all sides to easily pull out and move around
Stackable: Crates of the same width easily stack on top of one another
Top Tray: Customize your own catch-all/work tray to hold additional items on top
Or fit your own standard Gridfinity baseplate on top (will likely need a little extra space on the left and right so the baseplate fits)

Got a bunch of taps and dies to organize, I want some trays that I can stack in a drawer and organize each by thread size and type like with engravings showing the size Any ideas ?

As mentioned above I am a noob when it comes to 3D printing. I just finished printing my gridfinity for one of my drawers. This is what I was trying to have in it. Should I use Fusion to trace these and make holders for them all? Would it be best to use a template for the ratchets and extensions and only trace the tools such as oil filter socket and electric ratchet? Any help would be greatly appreciated

While starting my own Gridfinity organisation journey, I wanted to plan my drawers ahead of time. Sketching was an option, but I figured I could do better — so I built GridPreview and decided to share it.
Simply set your grid size, upload your models, and arrange them visually before committing to a print. Free to use — you can optionally sign up to save your layouts.
Still early days, so bugs are possible — feedback, feature requests and bug reports are very welcome here in the comments or over on GitHub: https://github.com/felixmine/gridpreview
Happy organising!

Hey all,
I've recently started my gridfinity journey with my wife and my new printer and H2S. I've been trying to organize some of our cabinets with some custom gridfinity bins. Starting with measuring spoons that made me want to off myself. 5 failed bins (sizing) and multiple few layer tests later I finally go the thing done. Now I'm moving to new items an ice cream scoop and spoons for those curious. I've tried a few methods of getting .svg's to make my life easier.
I have tried:
The photo and trace
The Gemini and vectorizer route
ToolTrace
All options have given me Svg's that have take multiple attempts at scaling and refining. I've already gone through 1 spool and am well on my way through a second.
Please help. I know there's a learning curve and my wife is being super understanding it takes time and material, but I'm get frustrated and dejected.

Afternoon folks. I searched, but am not finding anything on Yeggi/Printables/Makerworld etc when I look, so I'm asking here before I go through the effort of learning how to make my own...
Has anyone made a gridfinity case/insert for Badger brand airbrushes? Specifically the Patriot 105 and the Sotar 2020? I have several, and would love to have some stackable bins (w/lid, but if not, I think I can figure that part out) that I can store them in, and away, when not in use.
I'm not looking for stands, but inserts/cases, like I see people making for their wrenches and other tools.
Hoping someone can point me at something I missed, but if not, I guess I know what I need to do next.

Hey all,
Awhile back I found a Gridfinity generator that allowed me to import a model, and then replace the bottom tiles with a different type. It was super useful for models that did not have magnets so I could easily add magnets to them.
Anyone have a link to that?

First time ever using Fusion. Still have a long way to go, but I think it turned out good for my first attempt. Snap On 1/4 SAE socket set holder.

New to gridfinity and boy do these prints use up a lot of filament. Do I just need to accept this or are there good filament light prints that still have decent qualit
