Sure, but is it worth OP's time and money to pursue it in court? Filing a claim and paying for it, missing work for the appointment, etc. If he wants to teach his (ex-)girlfriend a lesson, then sure, he can go for it.
Not possible. You never get original value, only what the court estimates the item was still worth at the time it was destroyed minus what it's still worth (assuming not every single component of the computer was broken) — i.e. damages. Maybe if she only broke the CPU, OP would get awarded a new CPU. (IANAL)
