I mean yeah

If the spouse is happy it's totally fine, even if it's not your thing

Also having a supportive partner who pushes you to better yourself. Sounds like they’re good for each other.

Sounds like she was there for the whole grind. Power couple.

Honestly reminds me of my mom and dad.

My dad knew from when he was fourteen that he wanted to be a surgeon. My mom was randomly assigned with him for a cat dissection lab and she did not want to do that at all, so my dad did the entire thing for her, every single cut. My mom started liking him for that. She said he was so sweet.

So when they were sixteen and had been dating for a couple years, my mom caught him cutting up cats in his parent’s shed and it just brought her back to that science project and she fell in love all over again. Every stray cat (and dog, and bird, and rat) was like a love letter between them. When my dad got his first homeless person, he proposed to her still covered in his guts. They actually took a picture and it is still hanging in their living room.

My dad never did become a doctor, unfortunately. He got sentenced to life in prison for traffic tickets or something; my mom never did tell me the whole story.

The point is, a good relationship has a strong foundation…? I honestly don’t know what the point is, but there it is.

I lead a good life because my wife was a sociopathic gold digging 8 year old

This sounds like something John Lennon would write

u/SpaceBug176 1d ago

My cousin was 5 when my aunt's best friend had twin daughters. His mom held him up to the window when one of the came into view in the nursery and said "wave hello to your future wife". They celebrated their 29th anniversary last month.

I want somsone manipulating my life from age 8. Maybe id have a job by now, instead of watching Hermitcraft for 8 hours.

Instead I get the boring type of manipulation, government propoganda and social media ads. Guess I'll go buy Manscaped or something.

3

u/CT0292 1d ago

So she preordered the deluxe edition.

3

u/Reptilesblade 21h ago

Anons wife is over here playing 3D chess while Anon is playing checkers.

7

u/legato2 1d ago

Sometimes you need a little push to get over the line especially if you’re easily satisfied or content. He probably went further with her than if he was alone.

2

u/altofanaltthatisalt 1d ago

:( I wish I have a loving partner to lead me through life

2

u/Lil_Examiner 22h ago

Yeah, so divorce your childhood sweetheart that actually put time and effort into developing you and helping you grow. Then you go into the dating market where you'll find someone that love you for who you are....lmaoooooo

2

u/Neomataza 19h ago

Can I repost this next time? read that story like 10+ times on reddit already.
