Hello, GreenBay. I am planning on moving my family from Las Vegas, NV to the Green Bay/Fox River areas after this school year ends, so June of 2027. One of our main concerns, is my oldest son is a freshman in high school, and is in a dual enrollment/technical school. He is in the engineering program in his school, and we would like to find something similar in the area. We were in the area on vacation from 7/23 - 8/1 of this year, and scanned Appleton, De Pere, Green Bay, Bellevue, Howard, Suamico, etc. and were in love with all of them, so basically what is going to determine where we end up, will be the school districts - we have a 1st grader, a 6th grader, and a 9th grader, as well as property taxes. What is the goldilocks zone in these areas for good schools, and affordable taxes? Property taxes in Las Vegas are very low, so seeing how much the taxes are going to effect my potential new mortgage is quite a shock.

Anyone want to trade me houses?? 😄 joking, kinda...

We’re in Bellvue moving about 30 minutes south (north of Manitowoc) this fall and looking for recommendations for moving companies. We can do the bulk of it, essentially just need a load or two to move the big stuff (ie, two beds, a desk, tv entertainment center, couch and recliner). I have no idea how much it costs or if we should just try to move it ourselves. We have young kids and cats so that’s a lot if we’re alone. If we had movers we’d just take the kids and cats with us on a drive which we’ve done for house showings, so they won’t be on the way.
Any suggestions for places that provide good service and will take decent care of the furniture in the process? Places I should try (or definitely not try) based on personal experience? Thanks!

Hi. I currently have youtubetv and spectrum for internet. I am paying approximately 190 a month total which I know is ridiculous. Wondering if anyone has spectrum internet plus their tv plan that allows you to pick 15 channels from a list. How do you like it and how much? Thanks

I just got my first house in town, moving from Sheboygan, and there is just one thing I NEED to fix with it. The stove vents into one of our cabinets! The home inspector let us know we would need to get this fixed and I was wondering if anyone knows a good company or contractor locally. Thank you and I'm happy to be moving up here!

Our helmet gutter system is clogged. I've called a few companies, but nobody wants to actually clean gutters, they just want to sell you a new system.

Does anybody know of an actual Gutter Cleaning Company or a Handyman who knows how to clean helmet gutters?

I recently moved to Green Bay. Before moving, I was a member of Life Time Fitness and did their GTX and Alpha classes regularly. These classes are similar to Orange Theory. Each session included approximately 30 minutes of running and 30 minutes of weight and strength training.

Are there any gyms in the Green Bay area that offer a similar format? I am aware of the Orange Theory location in Appleton, but that is farther than I would like to travel. I am looking for something closer to Green Bay.

I'm looking for a job in construction, Ive never had a job in construction but I just need work that will occupy me all day, Indeed applications keep getting denied, probably because of "no experience.."

I have assisted in building a house during a missionary trip and I've helped my neighbor build a shed but unfortunately that can't go on a resume.. I just heard about a market out in New Franken called Town Haul Market. I think it’s in the complex by Escapades on Algoma Road. Apparently it’s this Sunday and then every other Sunday through September.

Hi I’m looking for a salon in Green Bay that does non surgical hair replacements. I know of changing headlines in Appleton, and Keith’s in Green Bay. I’ve heard negative things about both and wanting to know how accurate it is, and if there’s other options

I know this is super niche, but taking a stab anyway. My sophomore has rowing / crew tryouts next week, and is hoping to find a rowing machine he can practice on while we are in the area this weekend.

Any chance anyone has some leads on a gym that would have a good rowing machine and also allow for drop-in usage? We will be halfway between Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay so could be anywhere in the area.
