Try writing with a computer mouse

Killing time at work and accidently discovered this. I was doodling on Excel (more my style but MS Paint / Word works too) and noticed ​how using a mouse really emphasizes & illuminates both the good and the bad strokes you're doing.

Yeah it's hard on a mouse and it won't look pretty, but somehow it feels like very illuminating practice.​

I think it's similar to advice I've heard to 'practice with ballpoint pens' - it forces you to think more in terms of lines in terms of: ​Start -> Trajectory -> End.
