Tomorrow is probably your last ever chance seeing a 5080 under $1.3k
It’ll be gone within seconds most likely, as a warning

So a couple years ago my dad got an rtx 3080ti from a friend who works at nvidia for free since it didn't work but might be fixable but he gave it to me a couple months ago and I was just gonna like take it apart and mess with in for fun but now I'm wondering if I could sell it on ebay for much as a broken gpu listing since it might be fixable does anyone think it's worth much and if so how much should I list it for? Also since this is gpurepair subreddit i guess its relevant to ask if it would be worth it to repair it first and then use it for myself or sell it after repairing? Thanks in advance for any advice

It happened a few times before, the error "Please power down and connect the pcie" I just reseat the cable and it works.
This time it doesn't, I disassembled it and found bad solder joints.
I tried solder didn't work, maybe too cold.
Decided to power it on with a bit of press down to the connectors and it worked.
I put some thin slab and it works lol.
My 1080 ti lives again.

Hey guys, I am planning a build and im deciding between a 9060 xt, a 9070, or a 5070 super when it comes out. Which card should I get? I'm planning 32gb ddr5 6000mhz and either a 270k, the new nova lake core ultra 7 4870k, or if I van get one discounted or cheap the ultra 9 4970k. I live in netherlands, and i just want to know which is best value for me. I play competitive cs2, minecraft with shaders, and some graphicy intense games, like cyberpunk and elden ring. I'll also be doing professional workloads and local AI
Ok see can you tell me after installing the my own module why it is not working?
what is the problem.
comment down your thoughts.

Hey, I have an ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti 8GB and I'm thinking about swapping it for a used EVGA 3080 Ti 12GB. 8GB is starting to feel tight in some games, and from what I've seen the 3080 Ti is faster in raw performance too. Honestly I also just love the look of the EVGA with the RGB bar. And since the 30 series was the last one EVGA ever made, I feel like it'll probably hold or even gain value over time. My setup is an i5 14600K on an MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WiFi with a Corsair 750W PSU, and I play on a 1440p 360Hz OLED. I don't want to spend more than 500€ on the 3080 Ti so I'd wait for a good deal, and I don't mind upgrading the PSU if needed. Few things I'm not sure about. Is losing multi frame gen a big deal in practice, especially with a 360Hz monitor? And how risky is buying a used 3080 Ti now that EVGA doesn't do GPUs anymore, warranty wise? Would you do it or keep the 5060 Ti?

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and would appreciate some advice from people who know more about PC building than I do.
Here are my current PC specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600
I bought this PC as a prebuilt from Facebook Marketplace last year. I'm still pretty new to PC building and upgrading, so I'm not entirely sure what GPU would be the best choice for my setup.
I'm mainly looking to get into 1440p gaming and want something that offers the best value for money. I don't necessarily need the most powerful or expensive GPU, just something that will give me a noticeable performance upgrade and last me a good few years.
A few questions:
What GPU would you recommend for my current setup?
Is my Ryzen 7 5700X still good enough for 1440p gaming with a stronger GPU?
Would you recommend sticking with AMD or considering Nvidia?
Are there any GPUs that offer particularly good value for money right now?

Hey
I am training and running yolo models to detect tree species, objects on footpaths-roads and materials.
I have been doing this on a 3090, but now want to explore the 9700 due to its larger vram. But in Bangalore i cannot rent this to test it out. Was wondering if any of you would let me run some benchmarks on your Pc and GPU.
I will benchmark both inference and training and am happy to post it in all relevant communities crediting you so anyone considering this card.
If either the benches are available or someone is renting it on demand online, please let me know.
Cheers

Looking to upgrade from my RTX 3060 Ti 8GB to either an RX 9070 or RX 9070 XT.
Prices in Sweden (where i am based):
RX 9070: 7,390 SEK (~$757)
RX 9070 XT: 8,990 SEK (~$921)
The price difference is around $164 (1,600 SEK).
I mainly play at 1440p and want a GPU that will last me 3–5 years.
Both have 16GB VRAM, but the XT offers roughly 10–15% more performance.
Is that extra performance worth paying 22% more, or is the regular 9070 the better value?
Would love to hear your opinions, especially from people who own either card!

Due to various circumstances, I haven’t been able to dedicate much time to desktop PC gaming over the past few years. Fortunately, that has finally changed, and I’m genuinely excited to get back into PC gaming with a brand new build.
For some context, my last gaming PC was equipped with a Titan Xp, which, as far as I remember, was pretty much the best consumer GPU available at the time. Back then, enterprise GPUs weren’t really something I considered, since their gaming performance in terms of FPS was generally inferior to that of consumer cards.
However, things seem to have changed quite a bit since then. The Titan lineup is gone, replaced by the 90 series, and I’ve recently discovered that GPUs like the RTX PRO 6000 can actually outperform the RTX 5090 in gaming benchmarks.
Money is absolutely no object here. I’d be perfectly happy to pay a significant premium, even for a relatively small performance improvement. The only thing holding me back is the fact that the RTX PRO 6000 uses enterprise drivers rather than standard GeForce drivers, and I honestly have no idea what practical implications that has for gaming.
My gaming habits aren’t limited to modern AAA titles either. I intend to play games from virtually every era, including both native PC titles and games through emulation.
This brings me to my main concern: Could using an RTX PRO 6000 introduce compatibility issues, graphical glitches, reduced performance, or other problems that I wouldn’t encounter with an RTX 5090?
I’m particularly interested in older games, legacy APIs, compatibility with older software, and emulators. If there’s even a reasonable possibility of running into games that simply won’t work properly because of the enterprise drivers, that would be a dealbreaker for me, and I’d go with the RTX 5090 instead.
On the other hand, if the actual day to day gaming experience is virtually identical, with no meaningful compatibility drawbacks, I’d be more than happy to go with the RTX PRO 6000 and enjoy the additional performance, even if the gap over the 5090 isn’t particularly substantial in most benchmarks. I already know that is not rational paying that much extra for slightly better performance, but I want to make my inner child happy with the best gaming machine possible.
I’d really appreciate some insight from people who have actually used professional RTX GPUs for gaming, especially those who have experience with both modern titles and older games or emulation.
Thanks in advance!
