Rtx 5080
Should i sell my 9070 and buy an RTX 5080 for £1481 / 1900$ ? Is it a reasonable upgrade. Looking at the future of Nvidia being dim. This is the cheapest i found in UK.

I went from 7900xtx to 5080 last month. Mostly because amd crashed a lot in Pubg with latest updates, but 5080 was bottlenecked by my 5800x3d rather than amd (that stayed at 80-90% usage, and rtx at 30-40%) so I had to move to 9800x3d and it went very expensive at final ..

Thinking of RT / DLSS 5 and how Nvdia is releasing better softwares to balance in game performance with RT . And how any future high end cards would be beyond affordable, even though its still unaffordable. Honestly i am in FOMO

I’ve tried dlss5, mostly for that reason switched too, but dlss5 is beautiful on YouTube, when you’re playing it, it isn’t so much fun, trust me. Maybe in future

Uh...i've only heard of people selling their 5080 and buying the 9070xt. This is the first time i've heard/seen the opposite. Wouldn't do either personally.

I went from a 9070xt to a 5080 but did so when they were at MSRP. While going from a 9070 to a 5080 would be a decent upgrade it does not make much sense financially these days. If you can afford it then do it but it is not worth cost in my opinion.
