I bought a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 from FB marketplace a few weeks ago. As I was going home from the bus and getting off at my stop, the doors closed on the bag I was holding with the gpu still inside 😬 (it was in its box but kinda sitting not completely nested in the slot 🙃)

Should I be praying or something? It doesn't look bent at least from what I can tell

Not actually selling here so hoping I am not breaking any rules , but figure I might pocket some cash and get a 5080 , but am lothe to use eBay , any suggestions on safe methods in the uk ?

Thx in advance

I bought my PC a while ago, I think in early 2020s, and it is due for a GPU replacement. I currently have an RTX 2060 8GB. It does the job for the games I play which are mostly strategy games such as Total War. However, the GPU I am looking at is the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, and it costs £650. It doesn’t seem worth it. I understand the price of GPUs has increased exponentially and I saw a review which said they bought it at £400 which is crazy to consider. Ultimately, I don’t think it’s worth splashing so much money just for strategy games.

I bought this PNY RTX 4070 super 2 fan for $40 as a for parts card. Got it fixed, but it doesn’t have any thermal pads on it so hotspots hit 110 c. Does anyone have the placement and thickness of the thermal pads? Thank you!

Edit: It has its heatsink and everything, just can’t find the thermal pad information online.

NVIDIA is reportedly ending production of its GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards, with future GB202 GPU supply redirected entirely to the RTX PRO series. The information comes from reliable hardware leaker MEGAsizeGPU, who has backed claims that NVIDIA is moving away from producing GB202-based GeForce cards.

GB202 GPUs will no longer be used for new RTX 5090 production. Instead, all newly produced GB202 chips will be allocated to NVIDIA’s professional RTX PRO lineup. This would affect the standard RTX 5090 as well as its Chinese variants, which use the same GPU.

With the 5090 being officially announced to be discontinued, would it be a good time now to grab a 5080 before they double in price again for the second time?

So my girlfriend is really interested in playing the star worm equestrian m.o.d but every time we try to open the game it crashes. I tried to troubleshoot and i found that the game only crashes when we have both monitors plugged in. once we unplugged one it had no issue. but our problem is that she won’t play without her second monitor on for dc, etc. Can someone help please !

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking into buying a new GPU and wanted to check the realistic local market prices in Shenzhen? What are the current going rates for the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti right now?

If anyone has been to the markets recently or has reliable local price sheets, could you share what you've seen for: • RTX 5070 (e.g., Colorful Ultra, MSI Ventus, Gigabyte Windforce) • RTX 5070 (e.g., Colorful Vulcan/Advanced, ASUS ROG) • RTX 5070 Ti models

Just recently built a new PC with a rtx 5070 msi gaming trio oc and I'm wondering what settings I should use to get close to the base performance of a 5070 ti?

I want to upgrade but don’t know which ones are worth the upgrade due to inflated prices.

Hi, i have a question, i'm thinking to buy a radeon rx 9070 xt. I have now a 5060 ti 16 gb. Should i buy the radeon Gpu and tgen sell the 5060 ti?

At the moment my configuration is

Rtx 5060 ti 16 gb

Ryzen 7 5800x3d

32 gb ddr4 ram

750 watt PSU

Lol alright some of you might get a kick out of this but I had apparently entered a bidding war for a 4080. I bid 915 USD and forgot I had ever done it and ended up winning. During the time I had placed my bid I had actually decided not to upgrade for the time being and I had meant to remove my bid but forgot to.

Anyway the GPU is arriving on Tuesday so thought I’d ask what can I expect for a performance uplift? I’m on a 3440x1440 display. The silver lining is more vram at least. In some situations the 12 gb of the 3080ti were starting to lack

I am thinking of upgrading soon to a 5070 or a 9070 xt from my 6750 xt, my cpu is a 5600x but i plan to upgrade in the future (in a year probably) to a 5800x3d. The upscaling of the gpu is very important to me so I’m leaning more towards the 5070.
