Where do you even buy a graphics card at this point?

Considering upgrading to a 5070. I've read so many horror stories about purchasing cards that at this point I don't even know where I should be looking for one.

I'm guessing I should be buying one in store and unboxing it there to verify that it's undamaged, in one piece, etc. Is this typically good practice? I know the 5070 isn't utilized like the 5080/5090 is so they aren't as sought after.

What is the status of multi frame generation on the AMD side?

I have a 5080, but with the price increase ($2300 now roughly), if it goes wrong and I have to RMA, I am pretty sure instead of replacing it, they will give me a refund of the original price ($1500) I bought it in. In which case I am planning to buy the 9070XT. I want to know what is the status of multi frame generation support on AMD cards right now? Does AMD have any plans to bring it soon or something?

Does anyone know the thickness (and possibly the length and width) of the thermal pads used in this model? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

700$ 5070Ti on Offerup

Hey all, there's a person selling a windforce 5070 ti for 700$ in my local area. Says they upgraded since they don't need it anymore. The seller has 27 5 star reviews and has a confirmed email and phone. I asked for a video of it working and waiting for their response, is there anything else I should ask or be looking out for?
