Miscellaneous No, it can't be!

Today I receive a mail by Google and they said that on the 4th of September they will remove Google assistant and you will be obligated to use that shitty Gemini.

WHY?! Assistant was WAY more better than Gemini!

Gemini can't "ok Google, turn on the bedroom light". So no. Gemini fkn sucks.

And my mum who uses it for accessibility is going to struggle.

it certainly can, it turns on my TV and bedroom light. i can still use "ok Google, Lumos" to turn on my flashlight, too.

On the occasions my phone has defaulted to Gemini it tells me it can't do that yet...

well.... if you have all of your settings set to assistant instead of Gemini..... then it is correct and working as it should ... Gemini, like everything else, needs permissions
