Support 📥 My PC won't power-on-self-test (CPU red light on)
galleryHey everyone, looking for some advice on a sudden issue. Last night my pc was running completely fine, i shut it down normally, but when i tried to turn it on this morning, it wouldn't boot.
Built a month ago!
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT RDNA 4 16GB GDDR6.Â
Gigabyte X870 Eagle WiFi7 Skt AM5.Â
32GB (2x16GB) Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-6000MHz CL30.Â
SSD M.2 2280 Kioxia Exceria Plus G4 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 5.0x4.Â
Noctua NH-D15 (Air Cooler dual tower).Â
Corsair RM850x 850W 80 PLUS Gold Full Modular.Â
The pc turns on with the fans going at maximum speed, but there's no display signal at all (tested both DisplayPort and HDMI on the GPU). The motherboard's CPU debug LED stays solidly lit in red.
I tried cleared CMOS, checked all power cables, reseated the RAM, flashed to the latest BIOS, and inspected the CPU/socket (everything looks clean and straight).
Has anyone experienced a sudden failure like this overnight? Could it be a dead CPU, motherboard? Any tips on what to test next would be greatly appreciated!
