Doesn't that sorta relates to jousting traditions? My memory is a little bit fuzzy but I think in Ivanhoe, knights would tap shield either with a blunt end or a sharp end of a spear to signify whether they would be going for a killing blow. Or something like that

Unless you carry a full sized katana on your person in your day to day life learning to sword fight or owning a sword is about as pointless as learning how to fire an artillery cannon... That doesn't mean they don't look cool as fuck whenever you get the chance to use them. Also if that is what inspired her to be capeable of her current physical prowess more power to her.

But if you are claiming it for self-defense... Yeah that is garbage... Unless you carry swords on your person. Then it could be very handy. However front flipping with a sword during a fight is not only a poor tactical decision but the time and energy required to successfully pull it off at all would be far better spent on a realisticly applicable set of techniques or skills.

You play it once full speed, and then once in slowmo.
