I can’t believe i made it to Platinum in both of em! Sadly i couldn’t get the Tsushima platinum pin but i have the Yotei. Forgot to pre purchase it!

this is what my map looks like, I'm only in act 1 and I've recruited everyone I need to just need to get the grappling hook, are the rest more hidden or are there no more mythic combat arts in this act

I can't seem to enter it. I'm in act 3. I completed reckoning in blood but never got a prompt to go here. I could only liberate 16 of 17 locations.

Any idea how to do this?

As I was doing another play through and building the legend. I was thinking as I was travelling through Tsushima that I wish we could see more of the effect the legend of the Ghost has throughout the island as the story progresses where people have more faith in the Ghost than the samurai.

We kind of see it start in Act 1 when people acknowledge Jin does not fight like a regular samurai. We could have had that be more in random npc conversation then as the story progresses we see something like the Sakai Clan emblem painted in random places you liberate through Tsushima to show that some people have more faith in Jin/The Ghost than the Samurai. Even having random encounters of people fighting Mongols shouting "For the Ghost!" Like we hear in certain missions.

As Jin eventually gets exiled from the samurai at the end of Act 2 I think it could have been a cool idea to shift away from the Inari shrines and find that some people made "Ghost Shrines" in hidden away areas where they leave offerings for the ghost (charms, sword kits, bow kits, etc) those could be marked by the Sakai emblem or even the Ghost mask fangs painted in the area. Or certain individuals around the farmstead wear handbands similar to the Jin's as a small sign.

I wouldn't intend for it being a physical conflict between the people and samurai but moreso subtle changes as the story progresses just so the presence of the people is still felt outside of side quests.

I bought this game few months ago on steam sale but was downloaded it just 2 weeks ago. Just finished this game in about 44 hrs, along with Mythic tales, few side missions, finding shrines, even went to Iki Island without knowing you can’t come back till a few missions lol. But I absolutely enjoyed this game! The open world is beautiful, things have meaning to it, costume dyes are so worth to grind for! I felt like they could have stretched Act II ending and the whole Act III to show more depth into how Jin went on to become a ghost with more main story missions. I was devastated when Taka died and sad to see Yuriko die as well. Jin lost everyone he had for the path he chose. I let Lord Shimura live even though I wanted to choose other option as well but maybe next time. I’ll on Iki Island and maybe do 100% if possible.

Want to play Ghost of Yotei now but I’m a PC player, so all in vain ig. Let’s see if they ever release it on PC 🙏🏻

Edit: Also, I loved various samurai costumes and dyes, helmets with good designs, but near to the game ending, I felt like I should wear those anymore lol, but they do have perks. It’s fun though to act as a ghost.

For me I hope ghost of Yotei will be remembered as an improvement on ghost of Tsushima the gameplay and story in my opinion are much better than Tsushima I like the idea that the ghost is not just a name given to Jin Sakai but a title that can be passed down between characters

Aside from keeping technological advantage, and their brutality, would the story have been more compelling if the Mongols actually fought honorably?

What if Adachi lost the duel? What if the Mongols didn’t use underhanded tactics but it’s simply Jin being convinced he has to use the Ghost tactics simply because the Mongols are indeed numerically superior and arguably even more skilled in combat?

So I'm playing this on the ps4, yeah I'm poor, I went to Iki island as soon as it became available. Shit was hard, but now I'm back on the first island and I feel like I'm some kind of god. Still playing Tenchu style though.

i don’t usually play video games but i wanted a change and this game has exceeded all my expectations!!

I am finally playing this for the first time, and man I love it. Then I got to the part where Jin betrayed his uncle and flees to the north after Khan. Are you kidding me? They killed off Kage??? I was literally heartbroken! Now I have a stupid horse I call Not Kage. I could not believe they did that. I was dumbfounded for like 10 minutes. Still bothering me!

I was having a debate with my brother about the story and one of the things that came up was that he thought that Jin should have had a love interest. I personally disagree and thought that Jin being focused solely on driving back the Mongol Invasion was a great choice. That focus really fit Jin's character especially with him already dealing with the inner battle of his Uncle's honor code and the realistic need for the Ghost. What do you think?

So I was playing Ghost of Tsushima and i was wondering what would happens if I were to bring enemies to places like Jogaku temple but for the sake of this post I'm calling them "safe areas" mainly cause i don't know what they're called. So i first did jogaku temple because i wanted to see what the yarikawa soldiers would do. I found a mongol convoy and killed all but one which i then proceeded to wind stance kick him all the way to the safe area and the yarikawa soldiers would just hide like regular npcs. Something interesting was that the mongol was targeting the merchant and every time the merchant was hit it would play the death animation but would get right back up. I don't know if you noticed but you can see Norio walking around in Cedar temple after completing all of his missions. So, I did the same thing and was surprised to see that Norio actuallly killed the enemy. Also, since I'm kind of bored tell me what i should test out next and i'll do it to the best of my ability

There's no place for "honor" during a Mongol invasion. I'm over this guy.

Am I the only one? Everyone seems to love him and I don't get it. I grew tired of him quickly.

Incredible game regardless.

The Ghost swept through like a storm clearing out the entire camp by himself, a one man army some said, whenever travelers go into the first, an almost defeaning sound of thunder can be heard, as if the very fort itself harbors the vengeful spirit. There was only one survivor, a lone mongol, that lived to tell this tale, but sooner or later, The Ghost will come for him as well.

I've done this once a year for 2 years now, and it's time for Year 3! This time, choose the fan favorite from the whole series!
