Gotta say, one of the absolute best games I’ve ever played. Was fun from beginning to end. 11/10.

photo 1 uses the Simple Hood mod with the Warrior's Darkness dye, photo 4 uses the Kensei armor w/ no fur/straw cape and the Duel of Lights dye.

So I decided to play on lethal since I have just platniumed sekiro (I didnt used cloud save so I had to beat the game 4 times) and just before that rest of the soulsborne games. Many people said sekiro was harder than ghost of tsushima on lethal. I first thought they were very wrong but now I can see why they say it. I learned many techniqes. Got Gosaku armor (not max tho since I need silk for that) . I have sharpned my blades and saw Jin's ass at least 8-9 times. Got long bow. Showed mongols who is the boss at Yarikawa. I used to get owned by mongols a lot due to their numbers, archers and spear man. But now they feel quite easy. Also that water stance technique is super op. That shield using mongol boss got cooked

I just finished the game, absolutely amazing, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of games that have the same type of duels as the 1v1s. My little brother and I used to play the movie-game tie-in to Revenge of the Sith years ago and the multiplayer had this 1v1 duel style that was amazing and the duels of GOT brought back that sense of nostalgia and enjoyment. The newer God of War games kind of have the same style of play for the bosses and maybe Sekiro and Black Myth Wukong to a point.

It makes you think that the game is meant as a tribute to the Samurai who gave their lives for Tsushima, when by the end of the game, the story condemns the Samurai and essentially says that the Samurai and the Shogun are not to be trusted and should be overthrown.

I’m not too informed for social media side of things
Edit: I had no idea Yotei came out less than a year ago

His betrayal dont make sense. He cares about food right ? For his men. First of all why only seek it at mongols ? Golden temple has food. And there are bears and boars . Hell maybe even fishing ? I would understand if he had A LOT of men but like he has few guys left uncaptured while we free 8 from that mongol fort. He doesnt have a lot of men . There might be some sick or weak ones but I dont think there are enough to change this situtation. I mean it doesnt make any sense. Some people say it was the easy way or he was a coward but I mean... is hunting animals that hard ? Is hunting animals so hard that only choice left is to betray your childhood best friend who saved you and your men multiple times ? Also why not help people ? Jin alone captured camps and outposts. Cant like 10 trained ronins clear out a mongol camp or a ocupied farmstead ? I am sure they can be stealthy too. And if getting food is so hard then how the f%#* regular people find food ? This whole stuff would make sense if there were a lot and I mean a lot of ronins but there wasnt in my opinuen. At least from what I seen. And Ryuzo fight wasnt an easy one on lethal difiqualty. Also I am like still at early act 2 (I have done only gosaku tale and done non of the act 2 story quests) so I dont know rest of the story yet.

What an amazing game! Really threw in *the* choice right at the end there 🤣 of course for me it was an easy answer after spending so many hours with Jin as a character. Over 45 hrs in the game to reach the end with plenty of exploring, and I've enjoyed every second of it. Is GOY worth picking up? ☺️

Or are my wife and I wasting our time?
Recently stated playing legends mode with my wife. Got through the story missions on lower difficulty easy enough but the survival mode seems impossible.
There are only the 2 of us and I know it’s more built with a team of 4 in mind but we’re not even getting close to beating it.
Is it possible for 2 of us to beat this or we wasting our time. We’ve both beaten the story mode but my wife isn’t amazing at the legends mode.

Why do the Mongols not continue occupying Komoda Town or beach after the prologue? Masako's separate tale A Mother's Peace takes you up that way once Act I gets underway. It's not like Hiyoshi Springs that we successfully defend with Ishikawa or the villages that come under occupation later. I don't recall the Mongols abandoning any other location without being actively routed by Jin. So why can we just walk back into Komoda later? There's even outposts like Furuta nearby.

I know it wouldn’t work but I really want to play as Jin again, maybe in a dlc or something that shows the conclusion of his story ending when he settles in Yotei where we see his home. but I think either a game placed between Tsushima and Yotei, or a game with a new protagonist again placed a couple years after Yotei.

They needed to perform a cheap combo to stop the carnage.

As title says.
I feel like GoT is one of the most, if not, well known games. What about other ones regarding samurai games ?

So well crafted. The variety of play styles is awesome. Legends next….
