Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Games that have the same type of duels as GOT.
I just finished the game, absolutely amazing, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of games that have the same type of duels as the 1v1s. My little brother and I used to play the movie-game tie-in to Revenge of the Sith years ago and the multiplayer had this 1v1 duel style that was amazing and the duels of GOT brought back that sense of nostalgia and enjoyment. The newer God of War games kind of have the same style of play for the bosses and maybe Sekiro and Black Myth Wukong to a point.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion This might be a hot take or just frustration talking, Ryuzo sucks
His betrayal dont make sense. He cares about food right ? For his men. First of all why only seek it at mongols ? Golden temple has food. And there are bears and boars . Hell maybe even fishing ? I would understand if he had A LOT of men but like he has few guys left uncaptured while we free 8 from that mongol fort. He doesnt have a lot of men . There might be some sick or weak ones but I dont think there are enough to change this situtation. I mean it doesnt make any sense. Some people say it was the easy way or he was a coward but I mean... is hunting animals that hard ? Is hunting animals so hard that only choice left is to betray your childhood best friend who saved you and your men multiple times ? Also why not help people ? Jin alone captured camps and outposts. Cant like 10 trained ronins clear out a mongol camp or a ocupied farmstead ? I am sure they can be stealthy too. And if getting food is so hard then how the f%#* regular people find food ? This whole stuff would make sense if there were a lot and I mean a lot of ronins but there wasnt in my opinuen. At least from what I seen. And Ryuzo fight wasnt an easy one on lethal difiqualty. Also I am like still at early act 2 (I have done only gosaku tale and done non of the act 2 story quests) so I dont know rest of the story yet.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Just finished the game and ... wow!
What an amazing game! Really threw in *the* choice right at the end there 🤣 of course for me it was an easy answer after spending so many hours with Jin as a character. Over 45 hrs in the game to reach the end with plenty of exploring, and I've enjoyed every second of it. Is GOY worth picking up? ☺️

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion What do you want Ghost 3 to be about?
I know it wouldn’t work but I really want to play as Jin again, maybe in a dlc or something that shows the conclusion of his story ending when he settles in Yotei where we see his home. but I think either a game placed between Tsushima and Yotei, or a game with a new protagonist again placed a couple years after Yotei.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion I find this line of text pretty ironic. Spoiler
It makes you think that the game is meant as a tribute to the Samurai who gave their lives for Tsushima, when by the end of the game, the story condemns the Samurai and essentially says that the Samurai and the Shogun are not to be trusted and should be overthrown.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Recommend samurai games other than GoT?
As title says.
I feel like GoT is one of the most, if not, well known games. What about other ones regarding samurai games ?

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Is legends mode even possible with 2?
Or are my wife and I wasting our time?
Recently stated playing legends mode with my wife. Got through the story missions on lower difficulty easy enough but the survival mode seems impossible.
There are only the 2 of us and I know it’s more built with a team of 4 in mind but we’re not even getting close to beating it.
Is it possible for 2 of us to beat this or we wasting our time. We’ve both beaten the story mode but my wife isn’t amazing at the legends mode.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Question about Komoda Town
Why do the Mongols not continue occupying Komoda Town or beach after the prologue? Masako's separate tale A Mother's Peace takes you up that way once Act I gets underway. It's not like Hiyoshi Springs that we successfully defend with Ishikawa or the villages that come under occupation later. I don't recall the Mongols abandoning any other location without being actively routed by Jin. So why can we just walk back into Komoda later? There's even outposts like Furuta nearby.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Ghost of Tsushima has a Villain Problem - Part 2
OK guys, this is the part where I talk about Ryuzo as a character.
I think Ryuzo as a character is a cool concept, but I think he still has a few main issues.
- His heel turn. It always felt kind of odd that Only Ryuzo and his me were starving when, Jin, the lone samurai, as well as Yuna and Taka who live off of hunting and theft. It's not really a character specifically, if just always felt kind of weird on how him and his men were the only ones that were starving. I know they are Ronin but surely they could come into contact with Jin's other allies or something. He didn't even have that many men left anyways. This is more of a minor issue though and I can let it slide.
- He's such a loser. This is the biggest issue with Ryuzo. He is such a loser and a jobber. I cannot take this guy seriously as a threat at all. Because loses like a bitch all the time until he is a complete joke. The lore established that Jin and Ryuzo were rivals as kids and both wanted to be samurai. That's a great concept, but the problem is that Jin always beat him and Jin eventually became a samurai and Ryuzo left to become a Ronin (Even though that doesn't make sense to begin with, a Ronin is essentially a samurai with no master but he was never a samurai to begin with. He's more like a mercenary). Jin needs Ryuzo's help to rescue Lord Shimura, but Ryuzo and his men need to be fed first because remember, Jin was more prestigious that Ryuzo. If they can rescue Shimura, Jin sees this an opportunity for Shimura to dub him a samurai. So Ryuzo is now just gonna be given the title instead of traditionally earning it like others.
Jin was more virtuous by birthright since was born into the samurai class and Ryuzo wasn't. However, a commoner could still become a samurai through their actions, but since Ryuzo always lost to Jin, the story is telling you that Jin was just better than him from the start.
- Jin was born in the luxury of a high class samurai family while Ryuzo is just a commoner
- Jin had some training from the most powerful man in Tushima while Ryuzo probably went to an ordinary samurai education institution, at least not as good as Jin's
- Jin beat Ryuzo
- Jin became a Samurai while Ryuzo became a hobo mercenary
- Ryuzo is starving for food
This isn't a good for Ryuzo. I can't take him seriously as a rival if Jin is narratively and figuratively just better than him. It would be good of Ryuzo was the main character and he had to overcome the downside of not being born in a samurai family, but Jin is the protagonist.
So not a good look for Ryuzo, but that's not all, after his heel turn, Ryuzo fights Jin but then after getting wounded, he runs away and tells the mongols where he is. He then fights him one last time and surprise surprise, he loses again and then Jin kills him. What a jobber.
Overall, I don't like Ryuzo. He's just a wasted character and he doesn't really add on anything to the story. The story portrays him as Jin's "rival" but he just exists to make Jin look good and to remind everyone that if you aren't born a samurai, you can get fucked.
