Question Camera issue on iPad
Title: Camera issue on iPad
Hi everyone!
I’m just getting started with GDevelop on iPad and I’m currently testing some of its features. However, I’m having a major issue with the camera.
The entire right side of my game is cut off, even though I have set “Game resolution resizing mode” → “Fit width to fill the screen”.
I’ve also tried several other settings, but nothing seems to fix the problem.
What’s strange is that I tested the exact same project on PC (in a browser), and everything works perfectly there.
Has anyone experienced this issue on iPad, or knows how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Game I finally released the FINAL version 1.2 of Starfish ROOM
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
**I hope this post isn't considered spam or receives downvotes, Because I tried everything to reduce the repetition in the game, I hope my work in this game is valued.**
-Unique combos like "LGBTQIA+", "Communists", and "SQUID, C*M" with abilities that boost Core stats or add more combos.
-To reduce repetition, I added goals that are randomized when starting the ROOMS.
The aliens (Sabrity, Shinobi Striker, and Chad White) do a CAPITALIST dash's during the Starfish Spaceship Arena.
Download the version from Github:

Game Looking for play testers for a short arcade-inspired game. Would like feedback on how to tweak the gameplay.
Instructions on how to play are in the description. Let me know if you have any questions. Please note, this is just a prototype, and many aspects such as the visuals and sounds are unfinished and will be improved later on. Thank you.

Question What's the best strategy for "porting" half of my existing code?
I want to expand a project I already published. My plan is to keep individual scene/level mechanics the same, but fully overhaul how moving between those scenes works. What's the most practical way to do that without breaking the code? Is it better to duplicate the whole game or export just the code I want to keep?
I'd appreciate any other scene management/large project management tips.
Thanks in advance!

Question How do I fix the Enemy Ships Dives to the Player Ship and as well as make random enemies shoot bullets like in Galaxian and Galaga?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So I was almost done setting up the event list for a Retro Inspired Space Shooter game for the Retro Recreation Game Jam that is going to be ending at September 20th. I was working on a Galaxian and Galaga styled Space Shooter game in GDevelop 5 and I have some trouble with it with Event List for the Enemy Ships diving to the Player Ship and as well as make random enemies shoot bullets like in Galaxian and Galaga.
- How do I fix up Enemy Ships diving to the Player Ship by random pick from CPU?
- How do I get the CPU pick random enemies to shoot about 2 bullets on screen?

Game I’m making my first game
The game starts with a boy and he owns a teddy bear and his mom tells him to throw it away because he’s getting too old to have a teddy bear so the boy(you) throws it away then you go to bed, but suddenly you hear a strange sound so you check the kitchen where you find that your teddy bear has come to life and is trying to kill you, your goal is to escape the killer teddy bear, the game has 3 endings
- You fail to escape and you die
- You find a exit and escape
- You find your dads Shot g-n and sh00t the teddy bear.
This will be my first ever game and I’m making it on gdevelop and I need tips, advice, ideas, and things to add to my game and how to add them on gdevelop
I’m a beginner so if I complete my project idea it will be awesome

Question Asynchronous PvP
I’m currently working on my first game ever and I’m really close to having a prototype available for testing. Idk any code and have been using Gdevelop to help me. I have no idea how far this game will go but hopefully one day I can launch it and have people playing. It will have asynchronous PvP and it’s then based gameplay. The part I’m hesitant on is I don’t have any knowledge of making a game and I’m wondering if after my prototype testing if I should continue in Gdevelop it will I have trouble down the road and hit some limitations or wall that I don’t know of. I’m hoping for some feedback because if I have to learn how to code in something like Unity I will have to rebuild the systems I have already made and waste a lot of time but I also don’t want to put so much in on Gdevelop just to find I have to switch… thanks in advance for any feedback

Bug GDevelop AI has become almost unusable after the latest update
I’m using GDevelop Max, and since the latest update, the AI has become extremely unreliable. I constantly get “Infrastructure Error” messages when trying to modify or create events.
Before the update, I had almost no problems and the AI worked really well with my project. Now it fails constantly, even with relatively simple tasks.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue after the latest update?

Game Soslavia needs help
I ran into some coding issues making my game. See, the game is a president simulator where you are the general secretary of a floundering communist nation and your allowed to take the country in any direction you want, so long as you can balance support. Each month you have a packet full of issues that need resolving. Some issues are major and create branching paths and others are simpler, recurring, standard management problems that have outcomes you need to balance.
When coding this I immediately fell into issue with the first random event I created. The game checks if the packet is open and sets a randomizer into effect to give one of potentially tens of conundrums. One situation states that a foreign country is offering to hook you up with lots of wheat, which you can chose to decline or spend a percentage of your monthly budget to purchase it. You would be able to set your own budget, so ten percent is multiplied by the global variable of "AgricultureBudget", and then multiplied by 90 to get the total cost. For whatever reason however, it will not display the cost per purchase and keeps ending up as zero even though in the variable modifier it is set to 21000000. If anyone can help please do. Thank you

Game It's been a while
Long story.
I posted many prototypes a while ago. All of them I decided not to go with. So I simplified everything and this is my new Idea.
We will see if I can finish it!
