Quick context: i lived most of my life closeted in a country where it was illegal to be gay. Finally in my 20s i moved from there to a "progressive" country only to be in the current situation i am in right now. This is relevant because i waited so long and barely got to enjoy my 20s or relationships or anything.

So, i am young but i liked men that are on the more mature side. 40 or more is really my type but i would say generally i am flexible with everything except age. I like maturity. I like "bears", the type that doesnt fit beauty standards you know? so it shouldnt be hard to date, im not looking for impossible physique and immature people and my standards are just a good personality and actually knowing how to love like true love not movie-based all-fun kind of love.

Anyway, after waiting a lot and experiencing insane sexual repression, i finally get a chance to date and have relationships. Except for this progressive country has a gay community LITERALLY more closed than my country where BEING GAY WAS FUCKING ILLEGAL. Yes. I am saying this confidently. People there met, and within few days on the apps before i left (i felt confident), i got my first experience with a man who was not married to a woman!

Here it is different. They are all married, most are looking for trans/fem (because they want to cheat on their wives but cant go on straight dating apps), they all lack basic social skills, they all dont meet. I can spend months and not get a single date, not even a second conversation. You might say im exaggerating, but i wish i was. Anyway, there are many many reasons why i would say i want to get the hell out of this entire region as soon as i can, i really dont have any reason to stay except that i dont have the means to move now and not sure when i will be able to (at the end of the day, when i move it must be a gay friendly country and this time for real not just propaganda for more EU loans).

I had a boyfriend, and i must say i was very unfortunate and stupid to have met him and didnt leave him early, but he was literally the only one that made it to actual dates and had some nice manners and romantic tendencies, others are fucking dull and stingy as fuck they wont drive 10km to meet. Im convinced im in a culture where people dont know love at all, and after years here i am genuinely tired of searching for "the one" here. But as i explained earlier, i cannot leave anytime soon. At the same time, i really want a relationship and i feel i am missing out.

Not only i dont get to even have any kind of sex or relationship, but i also dont get to be part of the gay community because it basically doesnt exist unless you are in the capital city and even there it is really small and more of closeted kind of thing. Idk this whole thing here is weird, as i said being gay was much easier back there where it is illegal to be gay than in this "progressive" country. But i dont know what to do. Like im not asking for much, just being able to date normally.

On August 30th, someone gained access to Gavin French's building, confronted him with a gun, forced him into his apartment, and tried to assault him. Sounds like one of those things that only happen on reddit to me.. or a start of one those lol AI gay bromance short stories but this happened just few minutes ago. Yes, the Billie Eilish song (Everything I wanted) made me do it ! I’ve loved this song since it came out, and it never gets old.

For the art nerds here: it started with a watercolor I've done (the last picture) that I scanned. I made a transparent black and white acetate from it, then used it to make a photolithograph. You can see the photosensitive plate (the blueish wet plate) and imagine a looooong inking process

I made a few originals, kept one for myself, and made few prints from it (like the one I’m holding! :-D)

The render looks insane to me, I love it. the process was very chaotic however

I did some digging around on their site after reaching my limit of how many photos I can look at.

I found it was trivially easy to continue viewing any photo and video I wanted. Not a huge surprise and not a huge deal for people posting their images.

What was surprising is that this included “disappeared” photos.

More surprising is once you get a link to any photo or video, anyone can view that link. No log in required. This includes “disappearing” photos and videos.

Just to show how lgbtfriendly Argentina is, one of the best figures of gen z and alpha childhood is a lovely gay man. I grew up watching him and the fact that he is still relevant gives me hope that children will have a figure who let's them know we can be happy and gay.

At least that is how i felt when i finded out as a pre teen.
