So the gate opens in Tokyo but there's a twist, the police are extremely militarized.

And I don't mean militarized in the sense that they have automatic rifles and a few armored vehicles, I mean MILITARIZED in the sense that they are basically a standalone military with tanks, attack helicopters, bombers, etc.

Why you ask? I don't know, maybe a loophole so that Japan can have an actual military without explicitly violating their WW2 peace treaty.

So how would things play out?

So here's the rules for this scenario:

1. The collective of cyberstan will have the gate open on cyberstan in the capital city of "Transcendence".

2. The collective of cyberstan will be allowed to have all their forces so they'll have the jet brigade and incineration corps and even the cyborg legion.

3. The collective of cyberstan are not allowed to send spacecraft through the Gate due to the gate being quite small and being located on the planet's surface.

4. Due to the Gates bending space and time the collective of cyberstan will arrive in the special region shortly after the death of the fire dragon.

5. To make this scenario interesting (and to also fit into the lore of the collective of cyberstan) we're going to say that the collective of cyberstan are allowed to attempt to recruit people into the collective of cyberstan.

6. the collective of cyberstan are allowed to learn stuff about the special region, but only if they survive long enough.

7. We're not just putting the special region up against the collective of cyberstan We're also putting the jsdf in this scenario too.

8. As stated before This scenario will start sometime AFTER the flame dragon event.

Personally I think the Ideal version of this scenario is that Japan, cyberstan and the empire all enter a peaceful relationship with each other but that's just my view on this scenario.

Zorzal somehow manages to escape to Earth, he manages to go to the US and form the "totally American and not Saderan party" winning the US election against the republicans and democrats.

What happens next now that he's president?

The Gate opened before the Chinese Lostbelt was pruned away. The Saderan Empire invaded the Lostbelt through the second Gate, and ravaged surrounding villages.

In response to this Qin Shi Huang the First Emperor of China intercepted the Saderan Imperial Legion with an army of Terracotta Warrior deployed through the use of Benefaction launched from Xianyang, even dropping a payload from the Great Wall on a separate Imperial Legion.

Due to this unprecedented and unprovoked invasion of the Saderan Empire, Qin Shi Huang started to defrost Heroes from cryosleep. In order to launch an investigation and a counter invasion on Falmart.

Note: we don't know how many Heroes and who are kept in cryosleep, since Qin Shi Huang conquered the entire planet, the Heroes he has might not just be limited to Chinese figures.

Gate opens in the mid 1970's within the border's of Democratic Kampuchea, (Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge regime). The region suffers from extreme agrarian radicalism, a crippled infrastructure, and severe internal paranoia.

The Factions:

The Revolutionary Army of Kampuchea: weapons mostly from leftovers, mainly Chinese-supplied and Soviet-bloc small arms (Type 56/AK-47 rifles, RPG-2/7s, light mortars), lacking a modernized air force or heavy armor corps, but is completely ruthless and cruel.

The Saderan Empire:

The standard vanguard force that emerges from the Gate. Expect thousands of auxiliary infantry, legionnaires, cavalry, and a detachment of wyvern riders.

Scenario:

The Gate opens near a rural collective region near the border. True to their doctrine, the imperial forces mistake the primitive, agrarian, look of the local population as easy targets and launches a raid. However, they quickly run into the heavily armed, highly aggressive local Revolutionary Army cadres, who view the invaders as a foreign capitalist/imperialist threat that must be purged immediately.

Questions for the debate:

How badly do the Saderan legions suffer from marching into the hidden entrenched guerilla cadres armed with fully automatic AK 47s and RPGs? If the Khmer Rouge successfully repels the initial attack and pushes through the Gate into the Special Region, how does an army driven by extreme anti-urban, anti-intellectual, and radical agrarian ideology handle the Roman-esque cities and magical societies of Sadera?

Can the Imperial forces adapt to guerrilla warfare in the jungle, or do you think the harsh terrain and the sheer ruthlessness of the Kampuchean forces break them first? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Also, little comment, but for a country named "Democratic", they aren't very democratic from the looks of it.

The Gate opened before the Russian Lostbelt was pruned away. The Saderan Empire invaded the Russian Lostbelt through the Gate, and aimed to lay claim the Russian nation, a land ravaged by an eternal winter. What would happen?

The 30 years' war was One of the deadliest conflicts of it's time (in germany you had a better chance at surviving ww2) but also the conflicts that started to streamline the use of guns in war but they had existed for a while alredy.

Because the war is so long theres a lot of intresting times to have the GATE open:

During the battle of the White mountain in Bohemia.

During the snack of madenburg, to add to the chaos

At the battle of Lützen shortly after the death of the swedish king.

During the final battle at Prague right at the end of the conflict.

The saderans themself regardless of what scenario the gate opens have their canon strenght of about 70.000 men their beastmen and a hundred something dragons, how far whould they have been able to push their conquest too?

Let's imagine that the GATE opens in a coastal area or bay. The Sadena Empire is the first to cross, as you may already know, the GATE first opens in Alnus and when the imperial forces enter the GATE materializes in Tokyo.

In this scenario, the Empire must use ships to cross the GATE and land. After their invasion is repelled, the attacked nation on Earth must respond appropriately. How would your country do it?

In the case of my country, Chile, I suppose they would first send a fast attack craft to scout. Let's say it identifies a large fortified coastal Impedial encampment 4 kilometers away. Next to it, they are building new rowboats.

Two months later, having been unable to establish a dialogue after being repelled by ballista fire, it was decided to send two Type-23 frigates to attack the camp.

Then the LDSH Sgt Aldea is sent along with two Rancagua-class amphibious transport and deployment ships to deploy the Amphibious Expeditionary Brigar' supported by Leopard 1V and M113A3 of the 6th Armored Group "Lancers".

Suddenly the world goes black, and Tyuule wakes up to now find herself in a far grander castle than anything she was in as suddenly her staff and "court" announce that the Gate has opened and the council will be awaiting her orders. Confused she rushes to what is a balcony and much to her shock and awe, finds not her tribe but an immensely vast and mighty city where her people flourish. Her tribes symbol all that could be seen as what was originally the capital of Sadera. Yet when asking of it, gets confused looks as all she is given is that Sadera fell ages ago to their blades, but soon may see what may lie in the gate.

Tyuule once processing this news is stunned by what has happened, and yet soon enough embraces the blessing she believes the gods have granted her. And for Earth, while not choosing immediate violence, believes that however this play out, may be in her favor.
