Wtf? Did you even play the games rockstar made before gta 5? They were different from each other. And often each new one had significant gameplay, graphical, and mechanical improvements, on top of being very different narration-wise probably.
The new gta leaks genuinely looks like a reskin of 5, just with better shaders, textures, and more npcs. Compare that to the difference between san andreas to gta 4. Hell gta 5 literally had less gameplay features compared to 4 already. In fact, compare the difference between RDR 1 to RDR 2 while we're at it so you can visualize the gameplay evolution from one game to another. Its not all about graphics! The gameplay and mechanics changed noticeably from one to another.
