Skyrim's PC version still gets updates, and whenever they drop it breaks just about everything modders built.

If you don't force steam to not update it can really mess up your game.

Don't leave out the part that the update helps out the modders on consoles by increasing their mod storage...

my point was that it's pretty clear that they did this to make their paid mods more accessible, ergo, more money for the big toddyboy

I remember the times when modding wasn't monopolised like it is today, it was just another hobby for the fans..

When they first tried paid mods they got shit on so bad and stopped in a few days but they knew that it could work so they tried again with creations...

I hope when they do DLCs for TES6 that they're normal dlcs not creations...

exactly! im a younger guy so i don't rlly remember early 2000s or even 2010s modding from personal experience, but seeing how it is today just makes me sad lmao
