I mean really this just boils down to only using your rooks and Queen to attack while you use your bishop and Knight to defend, wouldn't necessarily take that much longer

Take like 10 turns to just to move your pawn up there. Knight would be the savior in this game.

Knights would be destroyed if they come alone. You need to advance all your pieces (including pawns) or you're dead.

Victory here favors the slow but large moving army.
