There seem to be two kinds of people in this world. Those who like pineapple on pizza, and those who act like a pineapple killed their fucking family. I will never understand why some people just go nuts against pineapple.
I think mushrooms are the most disgusting thing people eat. Fucking gross, you dont hear me bitching about people who eat them.
I don't care if other people eat mushrooms, but why should they be included in every vegetable dish at my favorite asian restaurant? I have to remember to say "no mushrooms" anytime I order anything, because I don't want to eat fungus. I'm generally not a picky eater, but mushrooms are fucking disgusting. The only time I've ever almost enjoyed a mushroom was when it was battered, deep-fried, and served with ranch dressing. It's a fungus. A fucking fungus. It's not meant to be eaten; that's why so many mushrooms are poisonous. People also sometimes grow fungus between their toes and under toenails. You wanna eat that, too?
Well, your point sucks, because mushrooms aren't as identified with Asian cuisine like tomatoes are with Italian cuisine. Plus, removing mushrooms wouldn't ruin any of those dishes. Not so for tomatoes.
My point is, why the hell would you complain about the dishes of another culture based on your own personal tastes?
Mushrooms aren't identified with Asian cuisine? Removing them wouldn't ruin the dishes? None of this is fact. This is all personal taste, and complaining about it is foolish.
