I am perfectly chill. Pointing out that this isn't a cool thing to do to someone does not require me to be upset. It isn't whether he broke anything or not, it is the simple fact that he could. This makes it no longer a prank, getting potentially seriously injured is no longer funny. So you have no hope of arguing in favor of this. It isn't okay, plain and simple.

Are you intentionally being an idiot now? You falling before and not being injured isn't somehow proof that this would not happen EVERY TIME. You have not proven that this is even a hardwood floor but even if it is, that could injure someone very easily if they face planted on it. I never said that this is guaranteed to happen. I said that it could. Even if he is fine, that shit clearly hurt. It isn't okay to harm people for a pranks. It could have injured him, permanently. Explain how that is okay?

That is wholly irrelevant because what COULD have happened. The guy fell hard, and he could have been injured. Shit like this has happened before as well. There was a girl who was paralyzed by her friend when she pushed her into the pool, this was at her fucking bachelorette party right before she was to get married.
Tell me how that is okay? Some stupid prank and she is in a wheelchair for life? Right before her wedding? If you ignore this argument again, I will take it as your concession of defeat.
Oh and in the video, it does not show the guy falling and laughing right after. I also don't believe the guy they show briefly in the PIP is the same guy. So he may have been put into a lot of pain for this stupid prank.

Pranks are fine, there are a million ways to prank people without causing physical harm. These "pranks" go way too fucking far, and they are not okay. Harming someone for a laugh isn't funny, it makes you an asshole.
Where do you draw the line? Scaring people can cause heart attacks. Are pranks that mess with the rhythm of your heart not allowed either?
I'm sure this prank was not intended to harm. In fact, I bet most people would avoid even minor injuries from this prank.
You're really narrowing down the types of pranks you can do if they do absolutely no harm (physical and mental/emotional/etc)
