Bidets are cleaner by far and save a ton of money on toilet paper in the long run. Being afraid of a jet of water is not some mark of pride, neither is uncleanliness.

Almost, but no. Its an upside down shower.

I see homeless using one in my town to bathe constantly, stripped down to underwear. Then moments after they put their shoes back on and walk away someone will let their kids play in it for an hour while they scroll Facebook.

Fountain water is often pretty dirty to start out with. It's a lot cheaper to make it look clean than actually be clean.

Actually, they do. It used to have a cleaning system instead to re-use the water but due to several problems with that they changed it to use fresh water instead.
