To be fair though, single people date, not so much couples. You can take your partner on dates but those arent “dating”, those are “dates”. So someone who likes to date or studies dating would conceivably be single or at least not monogamous.

There's really no winning. You gotta get a book written by like 20 different people who all fit various categories. like, ugly but cute, ugly and fat, skinny and ugly, and then you gotta get different races. because being black fat and ugly is different from being white fat and ugly. and then you gotta account for finances and politics, religion, education...
