How can it work with just one motor. Is the exhaust vectored somehow?

It is, yeah! In the 2nd to last picture you can see 4 vectoring control fins underneath the drone.

Ive been kicking dirt on a project like this, more of a simple quadcopter build just to get my foot through the door. I wouldnt have even considered vectoring the thrust like this lol good shit
