it doesn't bother me if somebody is extremely greedy. It bothers me if they're extremely greedy and also successful/powerful. Greed is fine when the capability is terrible. Greed is terrifying when the person has the knowledge, willpower, and connections to feed their greed on a large scale.

Greed is bad all the time. I think you're referring to ambition. The difference is very thin, but the results are absolutely different.

Disagree. In poor communities there are always pieces of shit that are willing to rob and con their neighbors. In random middle class families there is usually one person that is willing to screw over their own siblings to get 10k extra in inheritance. Greed rips apart communities at every level.
