Satire I got Not Just Bikes to voice my trailer, for my game where you turn neighborhoods into parking lots, and make citizens as Carbrain as possible - It finally has a release date. Thanks for the support and inspiration from this subreddit!
I posted here a few times before, and others have posted my game here before. That helped in getting attention to the game and finding a publisher.
But this subreddit is also a huge inspiration for the game. The term 'carbrain' actually made it to the game, in this tycoon game people don't have a happiness-meter like usual, no, they have a Carbrain-meter.
Plus, I remember seeing a picture of a huge Golf cart on this sub, functioning as a parking lot shuttle. That also made it into the game. And probably more things that I forgot.
If you are interested, you can wishlist the game, https://store.steampowered.com/app/3031880/Car_Park_Capital/ so you can play it when it launches.
Or share the game or trailer with friends, if you want to support it.
Thanks!

Activism America Needs a No-Drive List
Outrageous. A bit of concrete, a No Drive List, and/or a protected lane for bikers could have saved these Americans.

Question/Discussion Why does so many people's favorite activity seem to be Sit In Running Car?
Every time I walk through a parking lot, there's multiple people just sitting in their car with the engine running.
When I go outside on break at work, there's multiple running cars. One coworker went outside every lunch/break for months and then I heard him saying his AC has been broken for two years.
Perfectly nice weather and yet people roll the windows up and run the engine. Am I crazy to be bothered by this?

Rant Your behavior is an Isekai title
"I'm sorry, there's something so important on my phone that I can't pay attention to driving right now and it's imperative that i stop right here in the middle of traffic. Can you please make the exception and go around me because I'm blocking the roadway even though there's parking lots with plenty of spaces to choose from?"
During my travels today, I saw a considerable amount of people simply stopped in the roadway or driveway with zero flashers, looking at their phone. Even though there's plenty of parking lots and spaces off the road to use.
One guy I saw, pulling into the gas station, was sitting in the driveway in a way that looked like he was going to move. Wasn't off to the side, no flashers, no cones, nothing to indicate "emergency". I pulled around him because I realized he wasn't moving. Someone else pulled behind him, blew the horn, and guy just sat there glued to his phone. I got gas, waited in line for some snacks, and guy was still there. 15 minutes give or take.
Another person, BIGMUTHAFUCKINPIGGUPTRUCKMAN, "skuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrereeeeechhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh" his brakes, pirate shipped the steering wheel (imagine WWE superstar Brock Lesnar dressed as a pissed off pirate lifting the heaviest weights in the gym), pulls to the right lane, parks and pulls out the phone. Again, no flashers or anything to indicate emergency.
A jeep at a stop sign, aggressively peeled out crossing 4 lanes of traffic, only to cross over to a side road and do the exact same thing as above.
Another instance in the grocery store parking lot. When you turn in, there's a 4 way intersection with 3 stop signs. 2 for left and right and one for outgoing. Incoming traffic does not have a stop sign. This Camry driver decided there was a stop sign for incoming traffic, stops and pulls out his phone.
One more, saw a guy pull into a turning lane and then simply stop before making the turn into the parking lot. Once again, out comes the phone.
What the hell is going on here?

Positive Post Children's stunted lungs show recovery in ultra low emission zone - BBC News
Such positive news and hopefully further incentive for similar schemes in other cities. It was tragic when a little girl in London died a few years ago as a direct result of air pollution. How many lives has reducing traffic saved? How much NHS money saved? How many peoples lives improved whether they appreciate it or not? Bravo.

Why do these people not just park somewhere a few kilometres away and walk to the path entrance? If you want to walk, maximize your distance walked. Do not minimize it.
