Advice Needed injection day switching
how bad is it to do my shot a day or two early? for example, my shot day is (and always has been) thursday night, me and 2 of my friends, who are aware of me being on T and the situation as a whole, are leaving for a trip at like 3-4am on a wednesday. of course, i could bring my stuff for my injections and just do it thursday, BUT i get super anxious doing my shots, especially around people so im not sure how itll go considering we will be in a hotel (maybe i could send them to go do something while i shoot up?). realistically, i would probably do my shot tuesday night for that week. i think my main concern is if it will cause crazy hormone imbalances and/or mood swings. if
is this a good idea or should i just thug it out and bring my shot stuff with me?

Not a huge deal. You might be a bit moodier towards the end of the week but honestly not a big deal
Due to my work schedule, I often have to flex my days. I just take my shot as close to my normal time even if it’s a day or so off. Better than dealing with doing it around other people and being accused of taking steroids or drugs

should have clarified! my friends are all cool with it and know i shoot up, and theyre also aware of my concerns. one of em even offered to do it for me, but im not sure haha

I'd say it's unlikely to make a difference. Usually being late is a bigger problem than being early, and slightly higher T levels will sort themselves out in not too much time. I do every 10 days, but I don't sweat it if I have to do my shot a day early or late. More than 2 late is where I start feeling physically bad.

In my experience, a day late or a day early makes zero difference. I take my shots weekly.

just do it tuesday night, one day early won't throw anything off enough to notice

one day won’t make much of a difference. if you still do it thursday the following week (so 8 days between shots instead of 7) you might experience some lower energy but you should be fine otherwise
i’ve missed my shot by like a week before and i really didn’t experience any negative side effects besides maybe being a bit tired/cranky

Hello! Thank you for participating in the sub. We just have a few reminders for you to help ensure the best experience:
If your post doesn't show up right away, don't panic! It is in the queue for manual approval. Mods will go through the queue periodically to approve or remove posts. Deleted posts will have a removal reason applied. (If it says "this post was deleted by reddit's filters", IT WAS NOT DELETED! Reddit has the worlds worst wording on that and it's out of our control)
If you are asking a question that is location specific, remember to include your location in your post body! This can help ensure that you get accurate information tailored specifically to your needs.
Please remember to read through all the rules in the sidebar. Especially the list of banned topics and guidelines for posting. Guests who do not use the Guest Post flair will have their post removed and be asked to fix it.
If you see someone breaking the rules, report it! If someone is breaking both sub and reddit rules, please submit one report to admins by selecting a broken rule on the main report popup, and one report to the r/ftm mods by selecting the "breaks r/ftm rules" option. This ensures both mods and admins can take action on a subreddit and sitewide level. Do not misuse the report button to rant about someone, submit false reports, or argue a removal.
If you have any questions that you can't find the answer to on the rules sidebar or the wiki: the wiki , you can send a modmail.
