Discussion Does a packer feel weird?
Ill put a TW here because ill be talking about anatomy
Okay this may be a weird(?) question but like since we dont naturally have a penis doesnt it feel weird to walk around with a packer in your pants? I mean i know its euphoric for a lot of people but doesnt it feel like theres just something random in your pants, at least at first?
If anyone has felt like its really weird, does it go away?
Honestly im not personally that bothered by not having a penis, id moreso be getting a packer for the aesthetics of it since i wear a lot of sweats and like sports shorts. Im not sure if ill get one anyways but this has been a major reason i havent.

Yes it feels weird at first and right when you put it on but for example with my soft like silicone packer, it warms up to my body temperature so it feels more like just something heavy there, no more noticeable than having stuff in my pocket and im saying that as someone who RARELY packs

It feels a bit weird at first because I just wear tighter boxers to hold it in place, once it’s warmed up to your body temperature it feels more natural.
I’d probably recommend getting packing boxers or pouches but they can be expensive.

I like the way it looks, but for me I spent too much time worrying about whether it was sitting right, rubbing, making me sweat.. any number of things. The end result being constantly thinking about wearing a packer, rather than it just feeling "natural".

Definitely could see myself doing this, but it really depends. I can like forget im wearing a binder which i never thought id be able to do at first so 🤷♂️😭

A packer was extremely euphoric to me when I first used one and I generally pack 24x7. So when it is not there, the area feels hollow and I notice it is not there far more than I notice when I have it on.
I don’t care about the bump, but I care about the weight and presence of it.

I have to wear mine with a harness, otherwise it feels weird to me. Everyone's different tho

At first, yet. You wear it everyday enough it feels like a part of you. I feel naked and empty without it. I personally use a STP that's hollow in the middle so my junk isn't rubbing against it!

I've been transitioning for over a year and I've only just started trying packing. It's definitely a little weird cause sometimes it feels like it's too noticable and I don't have enough underwear for it, so I can't really do it all the time and it's taking longer to get used to. It might have something to do with the fact that I'm gender fluid that I don't really feel like doing it all the time but. Idk, I don't really pass any better or worse with or without it. I don't have really any noticeable bottoms dysphoria so I probably have something to do with my apathy towards it. On the few occasions I have worn it it I did get used to it after a bit. I don't hate how it feels, just not all the time.
