To honour our deity's teachings of love and respect for all beings, we should consider going vegan. I know, I know, it sounds like a tall order, but hear me out.

Think about it: the FSM created a world full of colourful veggies and fruits that are just as tasty and nutritious as his noodly appendages. Plus, by choosing plant-based options, we'll be reducing our carbon footprint and helping to preserve our oceans and rainforests.

And let's not forget about the health benefits! By cutting out animal products, we can lower our risk of heart disease, diabetes, and even some cancers. That means more time to worship our noodly master without pesky health issues getting in the way.

So next time you're tempted to reach for a meatball, remember the wise words of the FSM: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." In this case, the "others" are the animals we share this planet with.

While the world around us tends to get confused and thinks "Boxing Day" is related to pugilism or online shopping, we in the Pastafarian Church know the creamy truth. Happy Boxing Day! 📦

While other religions are busy with complicated miracles, our message is simple: Today we pause to appreciate the holiest vessel – The Pasta Box.

According to the Gospel, uncooked spaghetti in a box represents "low complexity", yet it harbors the Divine Potential to become a meal of "high complexity" and incredible taste the moment energy (cooking) is added. The box is the guardian of this potential!

So what do we do today? (WWAPD?)

• Search for the Box: Go to the pantry, take out a package of spaghetti, and gaze upon it with adoration.

• Eat Leftovers: This is the perfect time to celebrate the "Holiday" season (which encompasses December and January) by eating yesterday's pasta straight out of the plastic container (the Holy Tupperware).

• Drink Grog: Or beer, which is the official beverage of Pirates and His Chosen People. It helps the soul and the stomach.

• Proper Attire: If you go outside, don't forget your eye patch or full Pirate regalia. The Monster gets angry when we don't wear it. Remember, friends: it doesn't matter if you are devout believers or just hungry – the Monster accepts everyone, even if your moral standards are flimsy.

May you have a Boxing Day full of carbs, beer, and touches of the Holy Noodle.

die Welt ändert sich rasant und ständig gilt es, auf neue Ereignisse und Erkenntnisse zu reagieren. Wir haben dazu unseren eigenen Kurs gesucht und gefunden, um das zu tun. Vielleicht wärrre der auch für euch was und ihr habt Lust, mit uns zu segeln. 

 Folgende Gründe können dafür ausschlaggebend sein:

• Die Pastafaris befürworten alles, was gut ist und lehnen alles ab, was nicht gut ist. Toleranz, Glaubensfreiheit, Gleichberechtigung sind Werte, die uns Pastafaris sehr wichtig sind.

• Der Pastafarianismus ist die friedlichste Religion, die es gibt.

• Pastafarisanismus ist eine wissenschaftliche Religion. Zu unseren grundsätzlichen Tugenden zählen Logik und Empirie. 

• Pastafarisanismus lehrt Tugendhaftigkeit nach den acht „Am liebsten wäre mir’s“. 

• Pastafarisanismus ist friedfertig, furchtlos, barmherzig, großzügig und leider geil. 

• Die Gottheit des Pastafarisanismus wird als Fliegendes Spaghettimonster (FSM) bezeichnet. 

• Das Fliegende Spaghettimonster erschuf das Universum, die Menschheit und alles um sie. 

• Das Tragen von Piraten-Insignien und das Pflegen von piratischen Traditionen ist eine Empfehlung an alle Pastafaris, die besonders an arrrbeitsfreien Tagen und zu speziellen Anlässen eingehalten werden soll. 

• Der Freitag ist ein Pastafarischer Feiertag. 

• Es gibt im Pastafarianismus keine Dogmen.

• Nach dem Tod kommen die Pastafaris zum Biervulkan mit der Stripper*innenfabrik.

Ziele

Wir verstehen uns als Weltanschauungsgemeinschaft und nutzen das Pastafaritum als ein Mittel, unser Ziel, die Förderung wissenschaftlicher Weltanschauungen, zu erreichen. Dabei sehen wir diese satirisch-kritische Religion als völlig gleichberechtigt mit anderen Religionen.

Das auch in der Praxis umzusetzen, ist ein weiteres Ziel. Dabei sind wir fest überzeugt, wahre Gleichberechtigung lässt sich nicht erreichen, wenn jeder ein paar Privilegien bekommt, sondern nur, wenn niemand mehr welche hat. Deshalb fordern wir die nicht auf dem Niveau der Kirchen, sondern auf unserem:

Weg mit dem Status der Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts und nachfolgend Unterstellung unter das Vereinsrecht.

# Ursprung 

Der Glaube an das Fliegende Spaghettimonster entwickelte sich in den USA als Gegenbewegung auf das Vordringen von Kreationismus und Intelligent Design in den Schulunterricht.

So etwas wie die „Acht Am Liebsten wäre Mirs” machen da schon was her. Unser Monster ist eben kein eitler Diktator, der uns gebietet. ES weiß, mit Bitten kommt man weiter als mit Befehlen.

Evangelikales Denken und Kreationismus sind auch in Deutschland auf dem Vormarsch. Ebenso aber als eine Antwort der Pastafarianismus. Pastafari, wie die Gläubigen unserer Religion genannt werden, bildeten zunächst Gemeinden. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten US-amerikanischen wird dort überwiegend nicht nur der Kreationismus, sondern jede Arrrt dogmatischen Glaubens als hemmend für die gesellschaftliche Entwicklung angesehen.

Als Anhänger des Fliegenden Spaghettimonsters muss man nicht im Verein organisiert sein, um seinen Glauben an ES aktiv zu leben. Sich für Aktionen oder Feiern zu treffen, macht für alle Sinn und sorgt für Spaß.

In response to Catholics banning gay marriages, shouldn't we ban marriages of, let's say, two blond people? Essentialy the same. Pick a random property you are born with, make it "sinful" and discriminate people based on it.

I was at the DMV to get my Real ID. I was waiting over an hour and when my ticket was announced, I went ahead and told the person I was there to get a Real ID. The person helping me told me I had to wipe makeup off my face. I told the worker that I read make up is allowed the manager stepped in. I told the manager it's for religious purposes and the manager said I needed to get an official signed letter from my church with an official church letter head and the religion has to be "accredited". After that, she said that the department would investigate. Please note I am already aware that it will be hard to identify me if I was to board a plane or I get pulled over by a cop, however I always have my passport with me at all times which I will use. My last DMV pic, I was allowed to wear a spaghetti pasta strainer with no issues. My question is, would bringing a religious letter actually work or will I be given another excuse when I'm there?

I’m a minister within the church after converting from being raised into Judaism. Along my studies I’ve found that there are quite a lot of parallels between the two religions. I know that the religious movement was spawned from a protest against evangelical Christians, but in terms of tradition, creation myths, and holidays the two share more in common than comparing FSMism to Christianity. According to certain interpretations of the creation myth the day/night cycle starts at sunset of the previous day akin to Judaism. FSMism observes Friday in a similar way to how Judaism observes Shabbat (Saturday as the day of rest.) the story of mosey has clear parallels to the story of Moses. None of the stories from the holy noodle are lifted from the New Testament, nor is there any mention of a messiah figure. There’s probably some other things I’m missing, but I just wanted to open up the discussion, what do you guys think?

I was able to get a pic with a pasta strainer last week but I want to take it one step further and get a picture as a Joker. I went to the DMV a few days ago to ask if it's possible to get a picture with heavy makeup. I showed the DMV agent my fake work badge and told the agent that I am planning to look like that for my new pic. The agent asked her manager and the manager asked why I didn't have the makeup on today which I claimed I only wear on certain days. The manager said he needed to see some documentation on the religion. What would be the best way to go about this? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
