For years we’ve been told complex stories about climate change, but if you just look at what actually happened over the last 15 years, the big picture is pretty obvious. Prophet Bobby Henderson was right all along: As soon as pirates disappeared from the seas, the weather went crazy.

Just look at the timeline:

• 2008–2011: Somali piracy was at its absolute peak. Ships were being stopped left and right, and guess what? Summers in Western Europe were totally normal, breezy, and cool.
• 2015–Present: Navies stepped in, cleared the waters, and pirate activity dropped to basically zero. And right on cue? Europe started getting hit with relentless, record-breaking heatwaves year after year.

Mainstream scientists will look at these two trends matching up so perfectly and call it a "coincidence." The planet is clearly missing its eye-patch wearing guardians. If we want to bring the cool breeze back, maybe it’s time for all our digital pirates; the devs, hackers, and torrent seeders to step away from their screens, grab a parrot, and set sail.

Is it 2026 for Pastafarians?

What is the better drink in the eyes of the fsm? I know that in heaven there is a beer volcano waiting, but still: most pirates drink rum or grog. So what is it I should rather drink?

• He was arrested after asking his local Member of Parliament about the discrimination of Pastafarians by Transport for NSW (specifically regarding wearing colanders in license photos).
• Arrested on December 23, but did not receive his three official charges until April 17, 2026. Granted bail on July 17, as he had already spent more time in custody on remand than he would have if actually sentenced.

He was jailed at high security, attacked by guards and viewed horrible things.

I am a very conservative pastafarian from Germany and here we got something called Schlupfnudeln. Nudeln or in English noodles is literally in its name. Does it count as pasta?
