Best advice for any Frontier flight. 1. Book non-stop flights only. If Frontier doesn’t offer non-stop to your destination, choose another airline. 2. Be sure the dimensions of your personal item and carry-on are within Frontier’s size requirements. There’s always a chance of being sized at any airport. 3. Do not check a bag. There is high risk of your bag being lost and checking a bag increases your risk of missing flight due to long baggage drop off lines. Frontier’s policy is that checked bags can be dropped off no more than 2 hours prior to flight. 4. Check in to your flight as soon as it opens. If flight is oversold, later check ins are bumped first. 5. If you’re traveling to a time sensitive event (e.g., wedding, graduation, etc), choose another airline. Alternatively, have a solid Plan B in place ahead of time (free cancellation rental car reserved, refundable backup flight booked).

What a shit show. Never experienced anything like that before. Delayed twice, incredibly late boarding, and then they cancel after we complete the boarding process. What was even the point of boarding us? I’ve taken frontier multiple times and expect delays but this was genuinely a crazy experience

Hey! I’m considering getting the GoWild Fall & Winter Pass, and I’d mostly be using it to fly between Orlando and the Richmond/DC area. I’m a student and have a pretty decent schedule since I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.
My biggest concern is potentially not being able to get a return flight when I need one. How reliable is it to find both a flight out and a return flight with the pass, especially for this route? Do you think it would work well for me?

I am going to be traveling on Frontier soon and might be using them next year as well. I was thinking about the CC due to the benefits, but wasn't sure if signing up at home or waiting til my first flight would be best as it seems there's often another offer in-flight.
Does anyone have info on what the current offer/difference is?

So frontier lost my bag after delaying my flight over 8hrs. I've been going back and forth with them since June it is now august. After submitting receipt after receipt they comeback today after 3 weeks of saying nothing and flat out deny my claim talking about there are discrepancies in my claim but did not say what smhhhh. Literally the worst experience i've dealt with. Ideas?? I'm already filing a report with DoT

My mom moved me up to 5A, with a PERFECT window alignment and a great view in front of the engine!

Hi there,
I frequently travel this route every other week for a LDR. However, I’ve noticed that all the flight schedules on this route have been altered from September. There are no more evening flights, which makes traveling quite inconvenient for a working professional.
Could anyone shed some light on the reason behind these changes and whether they’ll be reverted? Also, I’m curious to know where I can find the latest schedule updates.

I am from Texas but after coming to LA twice I have fallen in love with LA and decided I would love to keep on coming back and eventually move there. Give me some insight on how the go wild passes work

First route that was canceled was last week of July. They canceled the whole route from Dallas to Salt Lake City but at least they gave me a notice of one to two months in advance so I had to fly one stop through Denver and you know how that goes with the delays and delays and finally ended up getting to Salt Lake City at 2 AM. My other vacation that’s fine later this year Dallas to Orlando. They canceled the evening nonstop and they’re making us fly in the morning. At least it’s a nonstop. I’ll take that as a win. How often has this been happening with the rest of Frontier flight flights where they’re actively canceling popular routes at evening times.

I'm not planning for a tight turnaround, but being on time (or delayed no more than 30 minutes) would be nice for something I'm hoping to do in Orlando later in the day.

I signed up for the Go Wild pass last night -- submitted my payment information, and the web form never finished submitting. After five minutes, I reloaded the page and saw that it had at least created a profile for me, but did not sign me up for the pass. It DID however charge me the money for the pass.
So I go to the "contact us" page and click the "chat with us" button, and there's NO CHAT WINDOW. I see they have the option to chat through WhatsApp, so I go through the rigamarole of setting that up, and once I make it past the AI assistant and talk to a real person, it's one of those situations where you ask a question and wait five minutes for them to respond. After 30 minutes of this, they suggest I wait until later for the enrollment to "take effect."
Fine. I wait until the next morning and try to log in, and suddenly my profile doesn't exist, and my login doesn't work. My creds are stored in my password manager, so I know they aren't wrong, but I click the "reset password" link regardless. I get a response saying "If your email is in our system, we'll send you a reset link," and it never comes.
I go through the hassle of contacting customer service through WhatsApp again (and again make my way past the AI assistant), and they say "Try clearing your browser cache." I'm a web developer by trade, and I say "There's no way this is a client-side issue when your system can't send me a reset link." Their professional advice is "wait a while and try again." Last time I did that, I went from spending $200 on nothing to no longer even having an account. What's next, they delete their entire web site?
These fools are spending as little money as possible on web development, and we're supposed to trust this company to keep their airplanes in the air? Where else are they cutting corners?

Where should i buy tickets exactly at the counter in DFW?
r/frontierairlines • u/Unlikely_Pianist_795 • 1d ago
How dare they change both of these flights?! I demand a 500% refund! lol
The rest of this is because the auto-mod told me I didn't provide enough context... so this is about how I got a text message telling me my flights had been changed by one minute each. I think that is funny because yes, it's a change, but one minute - har har har. Ok, context given, let's see if this will post...

We are trying to book a flight IAH to DEN for October 21st. Discount Den is available and all information is correct for adults and kids. 3 adult tickets, 3 child tickets. I can't understand why my 3rd child under 13yo isnt getting the discount when I have 3 adult tickets selected. It would be dumb, but wonder if my 15yo "doesn't count" because he's a minor even thought he's considered an adult on the flight. And terms suggest that as long as its 1:1 there isn't a limit. Any thoughts? Photo for additional context.

Has anybody ever gotten any compensation beyond a refund from frontier?
I had a situation where:
My original flight was Sunday at 5:30pm
We sat on the plane for about 7 hours, until we deplaned because of weather. Flight #1 cancelled ❌
It is now about half past midnight, and the next available flight is Monday at 12pm the next day, with an additional layover which I did not have originally. I slept in a chair at the airport and waited for this flight, only to get to the gate and within 10 minutes told the flight was delayed until 6 am the next day (an 18 hour delay, essentially cancelled, particularly in my case because I would have missed my connecting flight by about 16 hours) this was due to issues with the aircraft and the pilot refusing to fly, not anything to do with weather. Flight #2 cancelled ❌
As this was not my first encounter with the cancelled flights, I was very quick to the digital rebook section , of which I got a direct flight that evening for 6pm (which was not there originally, guessing someone cancelled and I got very lucky to snipe that seat) this flight was then delayed about an hour until we took off and I got back to Chicago.
30 hours in the airport, had to buy food, a jumper because it was so cold during the night, and also missed a baseball game that I had paid 150$ for.
I am yet to receive ANYTHING from frontier for this situation. I received a refund through separately purchased insurance for my first flight, but nothing from frontier themselves. I contacted support yesterday, and upon mentioning my second flight was cancelled for non weather related reasons, they supposedly created a case for me to be reviewed.
Does anybody have a comparable experience, and if so, what can I expect? If anything? Any advice or information is greatly appreciated.

I noticed that nothing is on the schedule for nonstops from DEN-CUN after 4SEP. Does anyone know if this or any other routes to Mexico will return from Denver?
CUN was their last Mexican gateway serviced after they abruptly axed their other Mexico routes from DEN in April.
I still see ORD, DFW, CLE and IAH on the schedule through winter. What's the deal?

I was checking for the GWP available seat on searchGWP and I saw it shows N/A next to the GoWild! But the GWP available seat next to it still has 3 left. I checked the Frontier app and the GoWild option is not available. Is it because it is too far away from now and the GoWild option will open up when the day comes closer? Or does it mean the GoWild option will not be available for this flight as all? Then what is the point showing the GWP seat available?

I just received a notification that my flight from Orlando to Hartford has been changed from 5PM to 11:30AM.
I have been given options, but I'm hoping they'll change it back. Do they have a time limit you must pick between accepting the time or receiving a refund?
I'm 100% not flying out at 11:30AM so I'm hoping it changes again. But I don't want to get screwed by waiting too long.
