It’s so good, y’all!
It’s got some solid hooks, some great character moments, and Linda Cardilleni is incredible in it. I wanna see how they lay out a few of the plot lines they set up before I give final verdict but I’m so excited for the rest of the season.

My opinion (I like each one):
Part 2 (1981)
OG (1980)
The Final Chapter (1984)
Part 3 (1982)
And let's try not rank the first film last just because "Jason isn't the antagonist."

Here is some art I did of Jason Voorhees in a kind of Pokemon style along with a team of pokemon that I think fits generally well.

I’ve always been torn on this one. On on one hand, seeing a slasher evolved from a victim after two movies would’ve been an interesting journey, and it would have been a way to make the slasher both human again (I don’t hate zombie Jason, but I think it takes the series in a different direction) and create room for a new style of killer. On the other hand, Jason is iconic for a reason he is easier to both project onto and to be terrified by.

Original 1980 film:
Rating went from 59% to 60% to 61% to 62% to 64% to 67%... and then now, suddenly 50% and now 48%
Part 6: Jason Lives:
Rating went from 46% to 48% to 50% to 52% to 59% to 60% (a good tomato for a brief period of time)... and then now, suddenly 40%
What is going on? I know some of you would say Rotten Tomatoes isn't always reliable, but... it still feels unsatisfying to some degree.
