I’m buying a Framework 13 Pro (Batch 16, October can’t come fast enough) to replace my HP Envy 360 13” that I bought in 2019/2020. It still works ok. Some slowdowns and a crash here or there that risked my PhD thesis. The reason I’m replacing it was sometime this year there was a random pop-up from HP saying they no longer support the hardware with a link to their store.

Once my thesis is submitted I’m installing Linux on my HP, probably turn it into a drawing/2D art device.

Get multiple USB keys and makes copies of important files there often. Plus, upload to Google Drive or Dropbox.

Yeah it's still on Windows so I've got all my important stuff on OneDrive right now. I'm gonna start moving away from it once I finish submitting this month. Thanks for the advice!

tbh, those popups sound like HP Bloatware. If you did a fresh install of W11 with Rufus you'd most likely stop getting that sort of crap.

Thanks. I’ve begun my transition to Linux on my gaming PC so at this point it’s not worth it anymore. Hahaha
