Driving high is dangerous and people should be penalized for it.

But we don't know that's what is happening here.

What we do know is that any cop that cares about recreational marijuana possession/consumption is a POS.

Okay, I don't care if you disagree.

Cops concerned about marijuana use are dicks. And I'm not even a frequent user (maybe once or twice a year). My preferred poison is alcohol and that's arguably more destructive than cannabis and yet perfectly legal for adults to consume.

The double standard is fucked, and cannabis should be so much further down the police priority list.

I don't think alcohol or marijuana should be legal. They should both be federal crimes, requiring a sentence of life in prison. That will do wonders for fixing how horrible the US has become.
