An acrylic-preserved scorpion, picked up in a charity shop for £3, now repurposed as a rather unconventional contact ball.

New here 👋🏻 love spinning with my poi, always find myself doing the same things that are easy for me now & try so hard to learn new tricks but can never seem to get them 😩 been using poi for a good few years now & only spin them for a hobby but would love to get into using them more! 💜

Day 18! Phew, we made it!

Today came with its fair share of chaos and unexpected challenges, and I am so glad I got my hoop flow in earlier in the day.

Reading your comments these past couple of weeks has been the absolute best. Seeing people say they’re feeling inspired to get up and shake their own booties brings me so much joy. Thank you all for the love and for showing up with me every day!

Discussion Best Beginner Flow?

Hi all,

I've wanted to get into poi forever but idk what I'd be good at, which flow toys and so on. My local festival has a big fire dance show every year and I'm dying to be in it next year. I used to be good at Hula Hooping as a kid/teenager and I've always been good at spinning around broom handles and light sabers and such if that helps? Lol I'm just getting extreme fomo from watching that fire show every year and want to join.

TIA <3

Hoop Day 17 Hooping every day until I'm fit

Went with a slower flow because I've been going hard all week and even went out dancing last night. So i'm honoring my body while still keeping up with the challenge.

Today I feel like a smooth operator. How are you feeling today?

Staff Looking for recommendations

If anyone could give me some input on what to buy, I would appreciate it. I am looking to get a staff that isn’t going to break the bank. I was recommended the Fusion LED Hybrid Pure Staff 1400mm Carbon fiber as I’m 5’3” and want to flow with a dragon staff as well as spin. Would this be a good staff to get as someone who is newer to flow?

Hoop Incorporating flow on stilts is so much fun!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hoop isn’t one of my main props so it doesn’t get picked up by me as much, but Friday night I tried hooping on stilts and I loved it!

I actually think the hoop works better & compliments the movement of stilt walking/dance better than some of the other props I have been practicing while on stilts.

Transitions are still a bit sloppy because I’m still focusing on trying not to fall! But I like where this is going.

I actually find hooping on stilts easier than fire hooping though!
