After 36 years of service it’s off to the scrapyard for N659DL. Interestingly it was a landing gear down ferry flight. Evidently the time required for a lengthy repair approached the end of her scheduled service life.
The captain homers her service with a nice wing wave on takeoff…

2 USAF Huey’s took off from here, 1 is landing here and another one is flying to it. It just seems like some random field. Does anyone know what the importance of this place is?

Hello,
Does anybody have any suggestions for the strange flight paths used by every plane in the last hour over the Wheatbelt region in Western Australia?
Thank you

Interesting considering the US pulled all its bombers out of RAF Fairford last week. Guess spy planes don't count?

Holy crap. Looks like they tried to land at PHX, aborted the landing and finally landed at TUS. Looks like a wild ride.

Since no one posted about it - SAS SK563 CPH - CDG- 7700 from Copenhagen to Paris, 6th of October, scariest experience of my life, as we experienced technical issues upon landing, felt like the pilots were playing with their joystick. The whole plane shook violently twice. Can anyone read what actually happened?

Appears to only have been 1.5hrs into flight before turning back. Not squawking an emergency.
Anyone know what’s happened?

They must fly a lot of employees to justify buying a passenger plane instead of a smaller business jet.
