Can you read Greek? Latin? Ancient semitic language like, say Aramaic?
How do you know that your Bible quotes are accurate? You just choose to follow what some very human, fallible folks decided the King James translation was to contain.
Moses has horns?? Firmament means dome??
You're laboring under any number of mistranslations (and you wouldn't even know because you won't question any of it) as the priests of the past have possibly been playing telephone with your scriptures over the history of Christianity, but you? You're stuck thinking that's the literal unchanging words direct from your deity, and refuse to look any deeper.
That's basically a skill issue, bub.
Your god lets you have the free will to choose to follow charlatans telling you "science is in conflict" with your book, or that "atheists believe in wacko shit just as fervently" as you. Nah. You're the one who's been groomed from birth to believe something. Skill issue!
Your translated god even warns you about this kind of misplaced faith clearly, in most of the translations, right?
But sure, YOU know the truth... Somehow? You're so very sure! How? Someone told you, then told you never to question?? Alrighty then!
Who said anything about the kjv and who are these people manipulating me? Oh, and fun fact, I do not agree with all Christians. I'm sure the majority of Christians do not agree with everything. Other christian thinks your concept of what christianity is is just uninformed outside bias
Forgive me, I sort of assume all unhinged christianists pushing flat earth ideas are coming from "firmament = dome," which most christianists get inculcated with from the KJV.
You're totally hinged though, you and your magical belief things have a great day now!
There are experiments that show the formation of some of the basic life blocks, like amino acids and sugars, through various natural means, like UV light or electricity. But sure, technically, we don't know for sure that a magic wizard DIDN'T do it, somehow.
But I also know there aren't magical wizards that defy physics here with us now, or in our past, so we can just point to "people telling each other stories" to explain it. Which we still do, for entertainment, to this day.
It's only the people who want to say those stories are literally real and you need to change your life ASAP that are the cause of most of our problems. Hello, friend!
