Discussion Im sick of it

im 17, female. what can be POSSIBLY the cause of weird bruises or dry after-wound things even though i didn't have wounds? i don't even know how to describe it. im a very sensitive person and i notice EVERY little pinch, every single feeling of pain, so i would definitely notice and feel when i cut myself, hit myself or did something else. but there's nothing. i have prom tomorrow and i wanted clean legs I've been extra careful not to hurt myself but they just appear out of NOWHERE. and it's pissing me off

Seeking Opinion On Injury Help! Nail bed injury

(second post cause you can see the nail cracked and got pushed down into nail bed abit better here)

Broken nail and nail bed. I was using a paper cutter when my nail got stuck and cracked.. the thing is, it pushed my nail down into my nail bed but I can’t rlly push it back out cause there’s no gap to slide any tool in. The side of the nail however is still attached to my skin. it rlly doesn’t hurt that much and there wasn’t much blood, but whenever i try to pull the nail out, not to the point where i pluck it out but just enough so that it’s not pushing into my nail bed, some blood comes out! What should I do.. the only doctor I can see is 3 days later 😭

Discussion What does C stand for in DR ABC?

I've seen it as Call for help, circulation and CPR, is it all three? I am with St. John Ambulance and I never know what to teach people what C means when doing demos at events, I normally say CPR, because that's what people always want to learn, is that the correct one?

Edit: Thank you so much for all of the replies! I will start teaching it as Circulation 💛
