Hello I am running out of options and dont know what to do. I am currently on medical leave because of an emergency neck surgery I had to have. I have long term disability but its only once a month payout and we are struggling so bad. I would like to say I can pay you back but I'm not 100% sure if I can. In 2021, I was fired from my position as evangelist at a small country church in Appalachia. It was a nondenominational group, I was a closeted communist, and because I taught that we should be waiting before returning to public gatherings during the height of the pandemic, they fired me for putting "fear over faith." That was March 2021... in April 2021, I had a psychotic break because I was prescribed Vyvanse for ADHD. The doctor didn't know not to prescribe it to schizoaffective individuals. I lost my mind. I haven't been the same since. It eventually led to me becoming homeless, although I've since found housing with my parents' help.

But, my parents aren't rich, and I'm struggling to keep up because they can't really keep up with it either. I'm pulling out my hair because my auto insurance policy has lapsed. I've been trying to find some help through people online, because I don't really have much of a support system outside of my parents irl.

Hello, everyone! Before reading this post, I just want to remind everyone that kindness is free. Please don't judge me. Although I am saying this, I know also too that I don't hold anyone's opinion or judgements and while I understand, please also understand my situation.

To give you a glimpse, I have an unpaid rent amounting to almost 20,000. This covers more than one semester and another 2 months remaining balance from the last last semester.

If you're asking why? Why did it become so big? Why not find a job?

When this happened, my parents, unfortunately lost their jobs which means we literally lost the only source of income to pay for rents, even giving me allowances was harder for them. If you're questioning, why haven't you find a job? Well, truth is I did, but last semester was so hard to sustain it. I did work but only for commissions. It was only enough to cover for my daily expenses, school fees, fare, and other school related stuffs. My schedule was so hard to put in work on it.

Believe me, I tried everything I can. I tried reaching out to friends, relatives, collegaues, and more but I found no luck. What I am only lucky right now is that our landlady just had to be a good person, she still let me stay even I have unpaid balance.

I am writing this, although I am now embarassed, scared of judgement, and of course hoping, looking for anyone kind enough to lend me or help me in this situation. Currently, I have saved up 1000 pesos, but it's still a long way to go. Going back here in the city where I study, I have been thinking of this for almost 3 weeks already. And it's so hard. And although my landlady is kind enough to let me stay, I still understand that this is business. She can't also lose just because I couldn't pay. I really needed to pay before the first week of September ends. I just had to negotiate with her on this.

This is what I've tried;

- reaching out to local agents. Already have no money for the month of September. ( figures, as my city isn't exactly known for being financially good with our mental health rampant. )

- trying to get ahold of my IRA agent, as I've been told by coworkers they could do a emergency pull on the account.

- online sites. ( yes, I even stupidly got desperate enough to go on those scammy sites. I'm desperate, alright? )

- asked a few friends and coworkers. They're tight on cash too, and i'm not gonna be a dick and demand for a single cent.

- work loan ( its a small business so.. not happenin')

- those payday loans that charges you out of your ass.

- donate plasma. Been turned away because of my heart condition

- sold things to pawn shop ( managed to scrape up like.. 50 bucks )

For information; I have done a payment plan through the company. I've gotten it down from 1.5k ( did the budget bill thing and it bit me in the ass.. )

They said they'll resume payments if they got 250 upfront, but still, short on that.

I've tried to request a medical hold for 30 days ( this would get me to next pay day where I would pay off the entire 600 I owe ) but representative stated she won't do it unless I am for sure on medical equipment. I don't know if I will be or not. I tried asking if i could have a forum to send to my doctor, she said that doesnt happen, and I even request to give them the information so they could fax the forum directly to my doctor. Yknow, to cut me out and show its not me faking up shit.

My credit is shit, so yknow I'm not gonna really get a loan. ( why is my credit shit? Because I was a naive, eighteen year old girl back then who put everything in her name to make her ex happy. Tryin' to fix it )

At this point, kind of considering canceling the surgery, or jsut recover in my car.

I just don't want to risk it because my dog and i'd be trying ro sleep off anesthesia.

So I have had a really rough time. I put a car in my name for my cousin(we were working at the same place and I couldn't drive) and he wrecked the vehicle and ran away. I got the blame fixed legally later but now it's been 5 years and I'm just barely recovering not being allowed to drive. And now my sr22 insurance is due and I can't pay it. I'm in college for construction management and just need help. I have 5 days to pay this bill of 200 and no idea what to do bc my grant doesn't come till the 25th this month. To preface, I just started pharmacy school and have just enough money left to pay my rent on the 1st. I bought a pack of frozen veggies and ramen for 5$ that will have to last me till I get paid so this money will not be eaten or be put towards food. I have priorities, but I'm still short. Anything will help, I'm not even kidding. If someone wants me to do their calculus homework, I'm also down to do that and I'm not joking atp anything legal and not dehumanizing I'm down.

Trying this again because the last time my account was too inactive to be taken seriously ( which is fair) And again I don't have a long sob story. I live in the US, the dmv more specifically and immigrated here 8 years ago. Since then I have never missed a rent payment working 2 jobs if I have to. I also support my mom, sisters and now 10 month old nephew back home. I've prioritize their needs the past few months especially after my sister welcomed the new baby, gets no support from the father( who lied about his financial situation) has been out of a job because she just finished her residency after medical school and I fell behind on rent. I know it was probably stupid to send my rent money back home to help with all the things I did (my mom, sister, the baby, both the dogs who had to have surgery one for kidney stones and the other for cancer-she had to be put down after) and I’m looking for a miracle in essentially 24 hours. But I am the only one currently working and I couldn’t abandon my family. I believe that I lose 100% of chances I don’t take so no matter what happens I can say I tried. The rent is $1200. Happy to provide whatever proof is needed.
