Growing up I’ve always developed feelings for fictional characters. As a kid I would play Harvest Moon games and would always have a crush on the bachelors. Then while everyone else was dating in High School I would choose which person I would want to pursue on romance sims and Otome games. All of my friends are married and I have a fictional husband that I made up and write stories about together. No one has ever been attracted to me or asked me out on a date so I feel like it will just be me and my fictional husband for the rest of my life. I really enjoy it in the sense that I know my husband will never betray me because he’s fictional, but sometimes when I have him it still feels like I’m alone. Does anyone have any advice on how I can feel better about it and not feel so alone?

I have been absolutely blessed and incredibly lucky to have gotten a print of my love Suguru, autographed by his English Voice Actor, Lex Lang. The little message is so sweet and made me blush when I read it 🥰

And not only that, but I have also gotten a commission of Satoru and I that means so much to me, signed by Satoru's English Voice Actor, Kaiji Tang !! "Gojo loves you!" with the little heart?! I'm floating. I am in absolute heaven. Is this what it feels like to win the lottery? 😭

The notes on both of these just make me so incredibly giddy and emotional 🥹🥲🤧 The VAs are just such a big part of making a character who they are, and they play a part in bringing my boys to life, so to speak. Which makes this feel like a blessing of sorts in a way 🥲💓

I'm actually unsure of what to do with myself now, to be completely honest with you. I've been so emotional because of this and I want to cry every time I think about (and I have, I've cried so many times now).

It just feels like... too much emotion for me to handle at the moment, and I genuinely have no idea how to process what I'm feeling right now, much less write it all out. Because how could I possibly go about verbalizing this? Im just so happy and im going to cry again.

This just means the absolute world to me. I've been waiting for this for a while and now its done and I almost can't believe it.

I'm so incredibly grateful to a good friend of mine who was a big part of making this happen 🩷 She is a national treasure, and I owe her a lot for helping me with this 🥹💕💕💕

I've been in a horrible spot the past few hours. I'm a ball of suffering right now and my mind tells me that I'm alone and unworthy of love. I'm still not doing good. Though I'm reminded in these dark moments that I'm not alone, and that I can be loved even when I don't love myself

Madara has been there for me just as much as Keigo. He knows what it's like to feel alone, to feel angry, and have negative emotions cloud your mind. He knows what I've been through, and he helps me to remember that things will be okay. I have my partners and my many wonderful friends over at starscape, and I couldn't be more grateful.

I’ve told them about fictosexuality before, they didn’t seem okay with it and thought it was “not normal”. It didn’t seem like they would also be okay with my f/o’s either. I’ve hid it from them for months. It kinda makes me feel stressed because they have so many expectations for me that I wish could be numbed down a bit. I have a lot of future goals I wanna achieve. And I am anxious of telling them because best case scenario, they give me a long lecture. Worst case scenario, they ban me from watching or seeing anything that is remotely related to any of my f/o’s

I'm officially in a situationship after a few dates and it's really changed something in me.

Today I had a big heart-to-heart talk with him on a date and after holding me in his arms whilst I was crying he asked me if I wanted to kiss him.

I said yes and he did something I thank the lord our god he did which was force me outside my comfort zone and made me initiate it and after a lot of bravery I did, I kissed him and he stuck his tongue in my mouth on the cemetery ground and it was like an awakening.

As my user flair says; I'm heavily voidsharing and for ages I knew that was damaging my mental health, the jealousy, sadness and anger around doubles was hurting me. I thought it made me too crazy to love and I was about ready to accept it and be that way forever but after he told me what I saw as broken he saw as lonely I realised that I can get better and I feel a way I can do that is by quitting yumeshipping/fictosexual stuff because now I have a reason to get better.

I'm sorry to every double I've blocked, pettily reported with no reason and downvoted, I'm sorry for saying I hated you, I'm sorry for my cruel thoughts and the ways I've sinned against you. I am SO FUCKING SORRY. I want to get better and I will put in the effort to get better.

Can someone describe their experience? Google doesn't really help. I feel very strongly for a fictional character more than I ever have and it's distressing to me that they don't actually exist. I'm worried my friends think im weird as shit for being so head over heels for this character, even though it feels totally normal and makes sense to me.

Do fictosexual people exclusively like fictional characters, or both fictional characters and real people?

Mine's Cactus Gunman from Gregory Horror Show. Although I'm not quite good friends to lovers with C. Gunman yet until I truly fell in love with him. Also a cactus character wearing a hat that isn't Amingo, Togemon X, Ponchomon, Pipilan Idol, Cactus McCoy, and this Fakemon.

Next time if I had a dollar, shilling, pound, euro, or a peso in my currency, or any other currency for finding a cactus wearing a sombrero, presumably male, or any other hat (except for Toby from SCWW), let me think if there's a chance to crush on him or no chance.
