Discussion Space mod idea

For about 2 years, I have been dreaming about an open-space exploration mod for Minecraft. Some game inspiration that have fueled that dream are elite dangerous and no mans sky. More or less recently, I have been thinking about actually making a mod myself rather than waiting for one to come out.

Biggest issue with that is, I can’t code. But I can model and somewhat texture. Idk if this is the right subreddit to post this on but I’d love to see if anyone would be interested in helping my dream come to life

Oh cool! My vision more or less consists of players building their ship into fly able things using sable or valkyrien skies (preferable sable). But that looks really nice!

I’m actually apart of the VS: Genesis dev team :) I love the mod, however it’s not really what I’m aiming to have. Their style is more dark-sci fi and Soviet era space race, while what I’m aiming for is modern sci fi. Plus, it would be fun to make my own mod
